Clients are not getting security updates !! sadanand 7/2/2007 11:38:03 AM Hi, We have installed wsus server 3.0 and downloaded the security updates. The updates have been approved for install. After approval the machines are getting notification "updates are ready for your computer. click here to install the these updates". The problem is it is not automatically installing on the client machine. Clients machines are configured by local group policy. Some clients are getting the bove message and some are not getting the message. We have configured the machines to download and install the updates at 03.00am. Still security updates are not installed on client's machine. What are the minimum configuration to be configured on client machine. Is there otherthing if machines are on different vlan. Any port / Firewall to be open?

Any port / Firewall to be > open? Run gpedit.msc. Check if "Allow Automatic Updates immediate installation" is enabled under "Administrative Template\Windows Components\Windows Update"
