WSUS client not connecting Blyd 5/16/2007 12:35:01 AM So this is my first time with working with WSUS. I have WSUS installed using Port 8530 (port 80 has WAMP installed for web tests) I installed WSUS 3.0 a few days ago on our W2K3 server. I opened Update Services on the server (I also installed the client on my PC to view WSUS) I set up the Synchronization, a few computer groups, and Email Notifications. I took a test PC and changed the GP to point to the WSUS 3 server. Does the selfupdate folder have a web.config file? I did look in IIS and saw that the selfupdate folder was the only folder that did not have a web.config file. 2. Do I have to change any GP on the WSUS server? 3. Under Options-> Computers: I have the (Use GP or reg settings on computer) but how would the (Use the update service console) and get the PC to point to the server? Any idea on what might be wrong?
