WSUS3 Server with WSUS2 Downstream Servers Paul Cassidy 6/7/2007 9:56:00 AM I have a WSUS3 Server at the Main site and WSUS2 on our other sites (Win2000 Svrs Only) After the 1st synch the Computer groups & Updates replicated to WSUS2 Svr without a problem. The problem I have now is that the WSUS2 Svr is showing that all the computers have a unknows status for all the updates so I do not know if a PC requires updates. Is this the case or is something amiss??? Thanks in Advance

Depends...... when did you deploy these machines. Have the clients ever updated successfully from the WSUS2onWin2000 servers before? If so.. what did you change on those servers, or what did you change in policy? "Unknown status" is a normal indication between the time an update is approved and the client actually executes a detection.
