WSUS 3 Upgrade Fails "Ohmcp" <ohmcp[ at ]nospam.lycos.com> 5/19/2007 2:17:08 AM Anyone encounter a problem like this... Upgrading from RC to WSUS3. Upgrade fails.... tells you to look at log. Error log reports ... SQL version is not Yukon. Yukon version 9.00.2047. SQL instance version 9.00.1399.06 2006-10-12 15:34:31 Error MWUSSetup CSetupDriver::LaunchSetup: Setup is cancelled or an error occurred (Error 0x80070642: User cancelled installation.) I have verified that I'm running 9.00.2047. I really dont want to uninstall and reinstall SQL here. I'm running SQL 05 standard. Anyone else encounter this? much thnx...

Dug into a previous post and it mentioned something about drive compression. Due to the desire to keep the Boot partition small at 8GB or less.
