Good day,
I am currently running WSUS 3.0 on a server with Windows 2003 SP2 and IIS.
This server is a domain controller.
Each morning when reviewing the event viewer I have the following events in
the viewer:
EventID: 13042
Self-update is not working
EventID: 12002
The Reporting Web Service is not working
EventID: 12032
The Server Synchronization Web Service is not working.
EventID: 12022
The client Web service is not working
EventID: 12042
The SimpleAuth Web Service is not working
Event ID: 12052
The DSS Authentication Web Service is not working
Originally when I installed WSUS on this server clients would not show up on
the server at all. However, by changing the permissions on the folders listed
above the clients could update but now I get these errors each day.
Has anyone experienced a similar listing of errors in the event viewer and
what is the potential fix?
