Monitoring a folder for new files

Hell All,

Is it possible to create a vbs script that can happily sit in the background
and periodically check a folder for new files. If there is a new file it then
dispalys a simple prompt with the file name that you can click ok to.

Doesn't need to do anything else.

Yes you can!!

I would create a script that generates a list of files already there, then
create another scipt that will generate another list that will compare the
two list and display which files are different... you could also create a
script that show files created within a given time!

You can use WMI to monitor file creation in a folder. See this link:
