Good Morning everybody
I want to change my pdc from an old 2000 SP4 server to a new 2003r2. I
have prepare the old one with Adprep /forestprep and after an adprep
/domainprep /gpprep. When I try to had, after this, the new one as a DC
controler the active directory installation tell me the forest is not
converted and I must use adprep to prepare it. To be sure I have test it
(rerun adprep on the 2000) the system say the forest and domain is updated.

Someone have an Idea ?

Thanks for your help.

Hello news.scarlet.be,

Just to clarify, you use adprep on the 2000 machine from 2003r2 disk1? Or
did you mix it with disk2. So disk1 is used to make the schema ready for
2003 and with disk2 you do a second adprep to upgrade the schema for use
of R2.

Best regards
