Backup DNS reformat and then restore Joe 4/21/2007 1:02:02 PM Hello, I am in need of reformating a server and it is the primary DNS. Is there a funtion in Windows Server 2003 that will allow me to backup the DNS's current configuration and then restore it after the reinstall? Thanks for your help Joe

You can use dnsdmp, downloadable from www.reskit.net/scripts to export the zones to a removable drive, then use it again to import the zones. -- Best regards, Kevin D.
