If those other domains are not PUBLICALLY resolvable (by recursion or by forwarding to an Inernet capable DNS) then you must do one of the following:
1) Hold the zone on the local DNS Servers Secondary (works for 2000), or for Win2003 Stub zonesor Forest wide AD integrated zones
2) Conditionally forward to the "other" zone DNS Servers Only works for Win2003
