Local DNS server issue
"mark" <mcoops67[ at ]hotmail.com> 7/6/2007 12:31:01 PM
I have a strange problem I cannot explain. I have set the NameServers of one
of my customers .com domains. The Whois shows the NS as being set correctly.
The site is available and displays correctly. The problem is that the site
will not display from my customers premises. Their network DNS is not
showing the correct name server. I have cleared the cache in the network DNS
bit it still brings in the wrong IP and NSLOOKUP shows the the wrong IP. I
have changed the DNS forwarder but no difference. This is definatly a
problem with the local DNS but everything else seems to work OK and I have
not seen this before.

Anybody any ideas?

TIA Mark

Is their domain name and the name of their AD domain the same?
