I have a video clip which plays normally in windows media player but will
only play at a fast forward speed when inserted into Powerpoint using the
insert movie command. Does anyone know why this is happenning and what I can
do about it?...

Opening PP '03 in PP '07 - background graphics
I put together a PP in Office 2003, which I no longer have. I'm now running
Office 2007. In my presentation, I put several "background graphics" on my
slides that I now need to remove/update with new info.
In viewing the slide master, I can't get to some of these graphics.
Can someone please tell me how to get to these files on PP-2007 so I can
edit/remove them??

Randomize the animation sequence
Is there any way to randomize the order of several "Fade Effect" custom
animation objects? (by several, I mean about 263)
Also: is there any way to randomize delay timing (and set the allowed range
of start times)?

Save ppt 2007 to PDF - can you keep the "go to the last shown imag
Hi,
I have made a huge powerpoint presentation (ppt 2007) with many hyperlinks.
I have made a button making it possible to "go back to the last shown image".
When I export this to PDF file all hyperlinks work excellent - but the button
"go back to the last shown image" do not work.
Do any one know if there is a solution to this?

Powerpoint Chart not updated with the data assigned in its datashe
Hi,
We have a requirement that we need to show the data from database into the
chart. we are using Office 2003 MS Graph OLE Object.
The issue is that the data from the database assigned in the Chart's
datasheet is not reflected in the chart. This happens in almost 50% of the
charts. If we double-click on the chart, then the values in its datasheet are

PPt Ruler Units Revisited
I am unable to change ruler units from cm to in in PPt'02. I was using
OfficeXPPro and PPt'02 displayed properly. I recently installed Office'07
and the PPt ruler displayed in inches. I was unhappy with '07 so I
reinstalled PPt'02 but the ruler units now display metrically. I have tried
all the suggestions posted in PowerPoint General Questions...the regional
settings are all English...

What happened to text shaping?
In office 2003 there was a tool that allowed you to shape text based on
several predefined shapes such as a circle or trapezoid. I don't see this
tool in Office 2007. Does it still exist? If so can you help me locate it in
PowerPoint.

Incrementing the slide in the slideshow in view
I have created a windows application that has an axwebbrowser and a button.
The axwebbrowser displays a powerpoint file inside it(which exists as a file
on the disk). when i click the button on the axwebbroswer i want the slide in
the axwebbrowser to increment and move to the next slide. Please help.

Text Formatting in Powerpoint
If I have a line of text which has different colored characters/letters
throughout the line, how do I typeover and replace the text but keep the
coloring of text in its proper respective location?

Text is painting 1 line above the caret
When I try to insert text in a textbox, the text is painted one line above
the blinking caret. It does this for all project. When the project is
carried to another machine, the text is painted at the text caret so it
looks like this is a configuration issue on my machine but I'll be darned if
I can figure out what it is. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this
problem?

Retangle Constrains to thin horizontal bar
I am using Vista. When I try to adjust the size of a rectangle by selecting
the either an edge or a corner it reverts to a narrow horizontal bar. How do

err_msg: no converter for this type is installed - ppt07 Vista
Installed Trial of Office2007 b/c this error msg appears when I use ppt03.
Now I get this msg w/07! ppt file created on ppt07 by friend and saved as
compatability mode. will not open w/03 or 07. I have all updates,
compatability pack, and office03 professional (and as of yesterday) office 07
trial. Suggestions?

without stopping a quarter of the way through.

PPT2003 Rounded Rectangle Corner Radius - Inconsistent Results
Hi
I have a number of different size rounded rectangles being inserted at
runtime and would like to apply the same corner radius to each of the rounded
rectangles.
I tried to calculate the rounded rectangle corner radius dynamically based

Links to excel-sheet disappear after saving
Hello,
I've been trying to hyperlink an object in a ppt-picture to a specific
worksheet in an excel-document by creating a hyperlink that looks kind of
like this: document.xlsx#=worksheet!$A$1
All the links work until I save and close down the ppt-document. The next
time I open the ppt-document, the hyperlink address had lost the
#=worksheet!$A$1 part, so the hyperlink has changed to: ...

Strange MCI Error In Powerpoint
