I have made a presentation that ends with 10 slides of pictures, when my
presentation ends I would like it to loop back to the start of my pictures
not the start of my presentation. Is this possible?

How do I embed sound files which are within the threshold limit?
In Power Point 2003, I want to embed my sound files with my presentation. I
have increased the file size threshold to 10,000 KB, and still, when I insert
a sound file that only, say, 4 MB, it's not embedding it, it still says it's
linked. How to get Power Point 2003 to actually embed my file and make it
part of the presentation file?...

I created and inserted the .avi file into PowerPoint. It plays on my machine,
but once e-mailed and opened by a receipient the videos will not play. Any

Change default insert picture location
I'm working with Powerpoint 2007 and am attempting to change the location
that opens when you select Insert - Picture. Normally this located on the
local machine and I would like to point it to a network location. Now this
can be done in word via a group policy, but have been unable to find a
simliar setting for powerpoint.
Hope someone might have an idea.

Hyperlink in Notes page
Hi,
I have simple question. How can I create hyperlink in notes to a slide?
When I select some text in Notes Page view and right click it, the Hyperlink
option is grayed...
The same is when I select the text in Notes in Normal view.
Is it even possible?...

On click fade image to 30% - PP 2003
I don't know why but when I try to apply a fade on a JPEG, it does is for 2
seconds then reverts to 100%. The Option Do not fade after the click is
selected and it stills does not work.
What I want is for pic1 to appear, then on click, pic1 fades to 30%, then
next click for pic2 to appear on top, then on click 4, that pic1 dissapears
completely
Any help is appreciated.

Total Presentation Time in PowerPoint 07
Greetings! Is there a quick, easy, painless way to display the total running
time of a presentation using rehearsed timings? I read a few earlier posts
to this thread which showed some code, but I'm working with a group of
middle-schoolers here, and they're not up for that. Is there a way just to
see the total time without re-rehearsing the timings and getting the
Rehearsal window?

turn off pop-up toolbar when running a show
I need to set my PPT so that no matter where it plays, the popup toolbar will
not activate. I have forward and previous slide buttons designed on the
template, and the popup toolbar is a pain. I have set it in my Options to not
activate, but I don't want to have to ask my client to do the same. There
must be a way to embed that info into the file so that where ever this PPT is

How do I create my own Table Style in PowerPoint?
I would like to create a special Table Style in PowerPoint that could set as
a default for creating a table or at least be able to apply it to tables in a
slide deck. There are some Table Styles that are close to what I want, but
being able to custom create one would be helpful....

html opening in same format as .pps
I know how to save PowerPoint 2000 as a web page. I also know how to save
PowerPoint 2000 as a .pps. I have and know how to use the link to the
PowerPoint Viewers at Microsoft.
Can I, though, directly save PP 2000 as an html file that would open up in a
manner similar to the way a .pps file would open?

Removing permanent dropshadow on slideshow templates
I use PP2003 and often convert powerpoint presentations into BMP's for
importing into editing programs. I would like to remove the black drop shadow
from the default templates as often the conversion will retain a portion of
this drop shadow which requires a cropping step in the editor. Very annoying!
If PowerPoint gives us a default drop shadow we should have control over it I
believe. ...

PP audio per slide
I have a 10 min audio file and 21 slides w/text animations. Is there a way to
listen to the audio that is playing with each individaul slide so I get it in
sync?? I only know how to start the slide show and listen from the beginning....

Adding a timer to a presentation?
I'd like to keep track of time remaining on a presentation. Is there anyway
to add a timer to the bottom of each slide that will tell me either how much
time has lapsed or how much time is left?

Hi,
Every time I select a shape, I get a blue outline and a filling. Can I
arrange for every shape to be black as default and have no fill? I have not
been able to find this setting.

Animation of graphs and quality of text
Have an XLSX graph that is pasted into PPT07. I have 3 questions regarding
animation to graphs:
1. When I add Grow/Shrink animation to the graph the quality is poor. Does
anyone know a solution to this? The poor quality prohibits me from showing

Corrupted files
My daughter saved a power point project directly to a memory stick and when
she has attempte to open it the message is saying 'unable to read' another
message refers to the file as corrupted. Can anything be done to salvage any
of her work or is it a start againer.

Speaknote page resizing when printing or making a PDF
Please help!! My speaknote pages resize when I'm printing or making a PDF.
This causes the speaknotes to resize and reragging the body copy. My solution
has been to make a PDF of speakernotes when in full slide view. Then, print
from the PDF. I hope any PPt experts can find a solution for this issue.

power pt pics keep deleting. red x's show up instead
i am creating a power point and have pics to insert. the pics go in, but a
day later they are replaced by red x's. when i try to reinsert the same
photo, a red x reappears. if i insert a diff photo or a diff version of same
photo, then it is OK.......
