I have Office 2007 system installed.
with the link to OneNote in Outlook can i link all my office PC's into
a single "share" folder containing all my onenote files?
Can i setup each machine to use a specific template with preset
section tabs? If so, does the template need to be installed on each
machine? or in a shared location?

Uploading resumes
How do I upload/email resumes into .doc format when OneNote2003 is the only
word processing program that came with my tabletpc (other than WordPad, which
doesn't provide the needed formatting tools)? There have been other problems
relating to OneNote's not being a "real" word processing program, such as how

sync notebooks
I use notebook on my laptop and my desktop. I am trying to get them to sync.
I can currently get on my desktop and open the notebooks on my laptop and
type modify those all that I want to, no problem. However, when I get on my
laptop, all I can do is view the notebooks from my desktop. I can't type
anything in them.

How can we fasten drawed objects to the words they are directed to
Being able to do some shemes, or draw arrows between words or any other kind
of drawing done on top of some normal writing is handy. But whenever we move
the text the drawing gets where it was and all turns
Is there any way that we could fasten/chain the arrows and other objects
with the text? And the drawn objects among themselves?
Perhaps grouping objects like in Visio would be helpfu...

Password Protection
Is there no way to lock a section group and every section in it, or even the
entire notebook - please tell me this is possible, that I don't have to do
each section, one at a time.

Options Menu Crashes One Note 2007
Crashes every time.
We're on Vista 5744 AMD 64bit...
I'd love to upgrade to the retail version of Vista, but even after
holding F8 to load unsigned drivers, I still get errors from the
install concerning Promise 378 drivers (so I can't upgrade).
Anyway, I try it every week and send in the error info... no fix yet?

Text messaging from Outlook 2007
I installed and registered the mobile text messaing addon yesterday - and
yesterday it worked fine. Tonight I'm not able to send text messages - I get
an "Undelivereable" ticket from system administrator - with this in the body -

From Onenote 2007, can't create outlook 07 items
I'm a newbie to Onenote in general. I have Office 2007 and all items
that refer to outlook from Onenote (create appointment, task toolbar,
etc.) are grayed out, as if the program can't recognize outlook 2007
is working.

side Note
I can no longer get the side note function to work. I get a message that
tells me to fo to tools/options/save and modify the path. I've tried this,
but can't get the dialog box to accept a new path or file. Any insight?

Scanner integrates paper and OneNote files
I have a new usage model to pass on: I bought a small, TWAIN-compatible,
USB-powered auto-feed scanner to manage/OCR receipts, business cards, and
documents. I picked NeatReceipts (can take 8.5x11, s/w seemed good,
~2â€x2â€x9â€). I still use the NeatReceipts s/w for receipts and business cards

Migrate note templates from OneNote2003 to OneNote2007
How do I migrate the document templates from OneNote2003 to 2007? The upgrade
unfortunately did not do this. (It did also not migrate the customized
flags/tags that I had defined, but I created them manually).

OneNote 2003 trial edition no longer available
Hi,
I am trying to get hold of a url (or media) for the OneNote 2003 trial
edition. All the links I have tried take e to OneNote 2007 trial but I need
to locate the 2003 version... Basically, it came (with certificate and
validation code) preinstalld on my laptop but the installed vrsion was

Summarize attached files?
Is there a built-in way to get a summary of attached files (per notebook,
per section(group), etc) or do I have to tag them all manually and use the
tags summary? I distrust tags in a multiple computer environment...

Custom Toolbars and Settings keep vanishing in ON 2007
I spent quite a bit of time this morning customizing OneNote 2007 with my
toolbars and misc settings. Immediately afterward, I ran the Windows FAST
and I ran the Office 2003 Save My Settings Wizard in the hopes that either
one would restore ON 2007's settings. I've lost settings for ON before, but

Academic version: On two computers? Key work w/ trial?
I know all of these questions have been asked separately but I need to
clarify something before I spend my money.
I have the trial version of OneNote 2007 installed on my Tablet PC. I

selective search in OneNote
I'm trying to search 252MB in OneNote for 'arm' as in Arm processor. Hits of
'harm' and 'alarm' keep appearing.
In string manipulation, normally I could force '(space)arm(space)', but that
doesn't seem to work in OneNote.

sync problem
I have just begun using ON and am running into difficulties setting up a
simple sync between my desktop PC (XP) and my notebook PC (XP). The notebook
PC ON seems to sync ok to the files on the desktop in a shared directory

Shared notebook and Outlook task syncing
I have a question about Outlook task syncing using a shared notebook in
OneNote. I have a work desktop computer and a personal laptop, both running
OneNote and Outlook. I organize my tasks via a shared Onenote notebook

handwriting
I use onenote 2003 and 2007 in combination with a WACOM tablet.
Handwriting looks in onenote 2003 much better as in the newer
version. Can I switch one this smoothing function in the 2007
