Sync OneNote 2007 between networked and non networked Computer
Is it possible to synchronise a OneNote 2007 Notebook between a networked and
non networked Computer? I want to work in my notebook on the laptop I take
out and about and then sync it with the notebook on my networked computer in
the office. These two computers do not have access to an area that is shared.

Send to e Mail without the advertisement to the Trial
I notice whenever I send a page to email to email that particular page to
someone, it creates a nice html of the OneNote page in the body of the email.
This is very nice but I would like to lose the mini-advertisement at the
bottom of the email that says: "....sie können eine kostenlose
OneNote-Testversion herunterlade unter:Link..."
Is there an option to get rid of this advertisement...

Slow computer
My trial of OneNoe 2007 will run out soon. I've installed and
uninstalled several times. It seems the computer slows to a crawl and
my cursor gets large and black with OneNote installed. Uninstalling
seems to help.
However, I really would like to use this program. It's well designed
and pleasing to look at. I realize the locking up of other programs
when OneNote is running in the b...

Forms (stationary) and stable handwriting
We use a form (or stationary) with one note (v '03) to collect data and need
the handwriting to remain stable without moving so that it stays aligned with
the form. Is there a way to have only one container for the entire page or
some other way to keep handwriting stable?

publish to pdf - extraneous copy
when I publish to .mht, how do I get rid of the extraneous copy such as the
tag line at the bottom of the sheet
"Created with Microsoft Office OneNote 2007

and the page date etc.
Also when I publish to pdf it adds a page number at the bottom of the page -

Snap to Grid
I am having some trouble with the "snap to grid" feature when drawing.
For example, I can't seem to easily draw a downward vertical arrow. When I
click on the starting side of the arrow and drag it down, the "grid" doesn't
always seem to be under where the arrow started (I'm expecting that my
initial dot snapped to a grid point, so more grid points should be directly

one note synchronization
Will there be a way for me to share notebooks with a PC that cannot connect
to the network. Such as a flash key or other media. My current tablet pc
which I use for notes in meetings cannot access the network because it is not
approved by my network administrator. With Onenote 2003 I have to manually
synchronize/copy files which doesn't work if I change more than one version
of onenot...

Recorded Audio from ON 2007 does not play in ONmobile
When I record audio from One Note 2007 in the One Note Mobile folder, the
note synchronizes just fine but on the Pocket PC in One Note Mobile the Audio
file icon is has a the Red Circle with a WHite X icon. When I click to play

PDF Insertion Turned Sideways
Using Windows XP
Using OneNote 2007 Retail
When I drag a PDF file from the desktop to a page in ON (ON reduced to
windowed size to view both ON and PDF file on desktop at same time) it
presents me with 3 options: Insert link, Insert copy of file, Insert
file as printout to write on it.
I pick "insert file as printout to write on it" and it appears on the
page turned 90 degrees counterclock...

Activating
Currently I am a student studying abroad in Poland and a few months back I
picked up the OneNote 2007 trial. I found out recently that my trial expires
on the 28th. I went on to NewEgg.com and picked up a copy of OneNote 2007
Student. The CD and key was shipped to my home back in the United States and

Converting problems with onenote 2007
I have a couple questions;
My trial version of ON 2007 is up on wednesday so I went out and bought
Microsoft office Home and Student bc it includes onenote - however when i try
converting the trial it won't accept the product key - am I going to have to
return the office and just buy onennote separately?

Bulleted/Numbered Lists INSIDE a table
I use tables to organize my notes for powerpoint-following lecture classes
(powerpoint slide goes in one column, I type notes in the column next to it,
etc).
My problem is, that OneNote does not allow me to do a bulleted or numbered
list in the separate column; everytime I hit enter, it starts a new row, and

inconsistentcy in publishing to pdf format???
I have several notebooks. Those with 'simple' layouts, such as a few sections
each with a page or so will publish to pdf format easily. Those which are
more complex such as, multiple sections each with varying numbers of pages
always result in One Note crashing and the MS error reporting dialog. I have

Audio to Text ?
OneNote has the function to recognise words in Audio - OK it's done by a
background indexing service, not instant recognition - but the voice
recognition stuff is there.
Can I import an audio file into OneNote, leave it for a while to be indexed,
and then have the ability to have the file outputted into OneNote as text
(where I can then correct any errors etc...) ?

A template for side notes?
I have become a big fan of side notes ... in fact, when I'm on the phone and
I tell someone "let me grab a pen", what I'm actually doing is pressing the
"Windows + N" key combo to start a new side note.
Is there a way a different default templates for new side notes, just like
you can for new pages in a notebook section?

Liveshare in OneNote 2007
I would like to share PAGES not entire notebooks in OneNote 2007 while doing
a LiveSharing session. 2003 did this wonderfully, but 2007 has made it a
real pain.

Can't open new page with different template
Hi,
Using OneNote 2007 RTM, and I am unable to open a new page with a different
template. There are many templates listed, and I can only open a new page
based on a blank template or a template I created. It's like the default
templates are missing.
Any ideas?

Lasso & Black box
when I'm running OneNote on my tablet PC (a Gateway M 285 w/ 2 GB of ram, a
Core 2 Duo CPU, and an ATI 1400 graphics card), I see black box on the screen
when I try to use the lasso tool. I'm running the latest drivers.
Does anyone else have this problem and/or know of a fix?
I forgot to mention that Inn running Vista Home Premium.

How do I disable automatic numbering in OneNote 2007?
OneNote automatically outdents and adds a number when it perceives a number
sequence for paragraphs.
I prefer to control nubmering and indents and outdents myself.
In other Office products, I can usually, sooner or later, find a place where
I can tell the program to stop trying to guess what I want done... but I've
had no luck searching menues, or help, or knowledge bases....
