Print to Onenote 2007
I've upgraded from 2003 to ON 2007. The printer option to print to Onenote
2007 is not available. I unistalled 2003 before installing 2007. I have
uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted three times with no luck at
getting this option to show up. I have also tried a repair with no luck. Any
ideas on what I could do to get this to work. To me it is one of the most
valuable parts on O...

Activation of Home and Student Trial
OK, this is REALLY frustrating!!! I downloaded the H&S 2007 trial and am
ready to activate it. So, I bought a retail version of the product. When I
use the activation feature, it claims the product key is invalid!!
When I checked with "help", it said that the Activation Wizard will provide
a telephone option -- but there is no such option! I can't continue on the

send to onenote icon
I have Vista x64. Both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of IE are present. I
didn't put them there. They came with the software. My Send to OneNote icon
loaded on the 32 bit and not the 64 bit. The 32 bit IE makes my system
unstable. How to I get the Send to OneNote icon under the Tools menu on the
IE x64 toolbar? The Help files seem to be leading me in circles and I can't
find an answer....

Centering picture in OneNote
I set up a page in OneNote with my company logo, I try and center it at the
top of the page, but when I print the page the logo is off to one side, and
not centered, is there a way to center pictures or logos so they print
correctly??...

Trouble With printing
when i print pages i would press CTRL P and one note would be a printer i can
select. yesterday that option disappeared. now i have to click on tools and
then send to one note. I've tried adding it from my control panel but one
note wasnt a printer i could add. any suggestions on how i can get one note
to be my default printer again?...

Trouble With Printing
I've Used One Note For the First month primarly for printing web pages,
suddenly as i was printing, i noticed it wasnt able to send the document to
one note anymore. it was gone from my printers i could choose from. I've
tried adding it in control panel, and tried to add printer, But i dont have
the option to select one note.
any Info ???Anyone??? how can i print documents threw one note ...

Onenote warning for links.
I'm using Onenote 2003 and keep getting this warning when I try to
launch the link to a file.
"Hyperlinks can be harmful to your computer and data. To protect your
computer, click only those hyperlinks from trusted sources. Do you
want to continue?"
Does anyone know of any parameter that will stop this warning? It's a
pain when you are giving a presentation.

one note to "Word"
I just created a doc in one note to use the "move around" feature and saved
as a word doc. I was very unpleasantly surprised at how badly it converted
over to a word doc. - lost all the formating, paragraph indents etc.
it did better when I cut and pasted but still far from acceptable - I can't
believe this is how this is supposed to work and be released as functionable
software, it seem...

Quick review of pages in a section
If I recall correctly, at one time I knew a key/mouse combination that would
allow you to quickly see the contents of the pages in a section by simply
mousing over the page tabs. You didn't have to click on each page tab in
order to see the page.
Trouble is, I cannot remember how to do this.
Anyone know how to do this?

smart quotes
is there any way to get OneNote to use smart quotes as the standard
(i.e. the curly quotation marks instead of the straight ones)? When I
paste text in from Word the smart quotes stay. But when I type new
text, no smart quotes. Any suggestions? I'm using Calibri and
Verdana fonts here if that makes a difference. thanks!

Onenote 2007: Windows logo key + S doesn't initiate screen clippin
New user of One-note.
I can get screen clippings via the insert - screen clippings menu, but the
listed Windows logo key with S used on the webpage itself doesn't do anything
at all.
Can't see what I am doing wrong.

Move 'unfiled notes' button to top of navigation bar
as per the title of this post - how can it be done ? Or is the button in a
fixed location - if it is, then it's poor design that it cannot be customised.

Video in OneNote 2007
I have found a problem with video play back in OneNote 2007.....
If you record video inside of OneNote 2007 and later try to play it back it
only plays for a second before the picture freezes and the sound goes mute.
If you copy the video out of OneNote 2007 (ex. to the desktop) and play it,
things works fine. Anyone that have seen this before and know of any
workaround?

Trouble with spelling features of onenote
I was hoping someone could help me...
Everytime I try and change the spelling dictionary to anything other than
English (US),
it reverts right back to English (US) ( I had the same problem with the
trial) - what can I do to make a permanent change so that it won't revert
back after each word is spell-checked??

Using OneNote email function with Lotus Notes 6.5...
.....is it going to work - has anyone tested it ? If not - what can make it
work ?
Notes supports 'simple MAPI' I believe, but not what Microsoft calls MAPI
which is what Lotus Notes calls 'extended MAPI'.
Is simple MAPI enough ?

Outlining Inked Notes
I just updated to OneNote 2007 (on a Tecra M4 tablet and have been
experiencing a problem in outlining my handwritten notes.
Outlining Inked Notes:
In ON 2003 I could ink some notes, apply formating such as bullets or
numbering simply using the toolbar, and then if I added more notes these
would automatically adopt the formating that was above it (ie, bullets or
numbering).

Very New User?
Can someone point me in the direction of how to get started with
OneNote? I've got OneNote 2003, but don't have any idea what to do with
it. I was under the impression that it's really only useful if you have
a tablet, but it seems from this group that people are using it
otherwise too. I'd like to know more about that.
