OneNote 2007 mobile, add insert Word, powerpoint or excel
Using Windows Mobile 5 with OneNote 2007 mobile unable to add word, excel or
powerpoint documents and unable to open word, powerpoint, excel objects from
within OneNote mobile 2007. Certainly would improve interoperability if file
insertion, even if limited to MS office files.

OneNote opens links to OneNote files incorrectly.
I'm telling you, the list of things that started going wrong with OneNote
after I registered the full retail version of ON 2007 is really starting
to get irritating.
Now, most of the time now when I click on a link to a page or section in
OneNote I get a dialog asking, "Do you want to open the 'FolderName'
notebook in OneNote (recommended) or just open the 'SectionName' section

Outlook Task Link to Onenote 2007 Task
I attached a task flag to a Onenote 2007 item which created the task in
Outlook 2003 as designed. When I open the task in Outlook and double click
the OneNote Link, it open the section or notebook in a read only mode which
does not allow for me to modify in onenote as well as create a "misplaced"
notebook/section. Any thoughts? I would like to be able to open a task to

Where can I get OneNote to add to my Office 2007 Pro Suite?
I have a licensed copy of Office 2007 Professional. I've seen a demo of
OneNote and would like to use it, but I haven't seen it for sale as a
stand-alone product. Can it be purchased and merged into Office 2007 Pro, or
do I have to upgrade to Office 2007 Ultimate, which would be way to expensive
since I just recently upgraded from Office XP Pro to Office 2007 Pro? ...

Section tab width adjustable in ON2007?
Is it possible to adjust the width of the section tabs along the top? They
are narrower than ON2003, so that words like "Meetings" are truncated with
elipses. It would be nice to widen these tabs to a user-adjustable
preference. A global setting would be fine....

how do you insert text?
When I use the writing pad, input panel transforms my handwriting into text,
but when I press INSERT, text dissappears and I get nothing.

OneLook
I'd like to suggest the concept of "OneLook", a complete integration of
Outlook and OneNote. If I had to buy a third app to accomplish this I
certainly would.
I'd like to be able to use outlook through a Onenote interface:
Each function in outlook would be Utilized as a notebook in onenote
Notebooks for Email, contacts, Journal, Calender... Etc

Path to license purchase from trial Onenote 2007?
I'm getting the run-around when the notification to upgrade; FireFox loses
the redirect to the MS store. I'd like to purchase the $79 upgrade from

Using Groove and OneNote together
Is is possible to use a groove workspace as a place to store and share a
OneNote notebook IF I don't have access to a server? Can I create a Groove
workspace at work, leave my work computer on when I go home, and then access
my OneNote notebooks from the Groove workspace when I work at home on my
computer?...

Change default position of text insertion point in Onenote
After I've entered something into OneNote, (especially a screen clipping) the
insertion point is inevitably placed at the end of the page. However, if I
want to go back and look at my notebook page, very little information is
visible, since the software again shows the bottom 5% of what the page
contains and presents 95% of a blank screen to the user.
This is good for writing but horrib...

Has anyone worked out how to use OneNote 2003 templates in OneNote 2007?
Although those that I have attempted to use are marked as compatible with
"2003 and above", when I download them, nothing happens and I cannot see them
anywhere on my hard disc!...

Onenote 2007 + Vista + Sharepoint
I have a problem where i cannot open Onenote notebooks off a sharepoint
server over the internet. I am useing onenote 2007 on vista ultimate and the
the notebooks are on sharepoint services 2003. it i map the sharepoint
server as a drive then i can open the notebook but i can make changes to it.
it says its read only or i dont have permissions. every thing seem to work
fine under xp ...

Outlook tasks from OneNote 2007
For some reason the OneNote menu option and toolbar button that creates a
task in Outlook are both disabled. I have hunted all around the KBs and the
internet and I can't find anyone that seems to have written anything about
this. Any clues on how I can fix this? I have both Outlook 2007 and OneNote
2007 running on Windows XP.

directory on one of the network shares....what would have caused this and how

List indent issues (yet another bug)
So I'm trying to figure out how to change the default list indent. I
thought perhaps I could edit a page created from the "default" template
and then resave it as the default. I haven't even gotten that far yet. I
realized that I would probably have to create a bunch of levels and

Can OneNote 2007 be used with Windows XP & Office 2003?
My company has not yet migrated our office applications to 2007. It will be
some time before we are able to do so. However, I'm very interested in using
the 2007 version of OneNote. Is it possible to run the OneNote 2007 version

Outlook to Onenote error
I've installed the Microsoft to Onenote power toy correctly but no button or
menu is visible in Outlook 2003. In Outlook's Advanced Options/Coms Addins I
can see the power toy but it's unticked with an error stating that a runtime
error occured whilst loading the addin.

No Send to Onenote command in word 2007
The Help menus for Onenote say:
· Use the Send to Microsoft OneNote 2007 feature to print from any Microsoft
Office program directly into OneNote 2007.
There is no such option in my Word 2007! (at least not in the SEND command
in the top-right Office-circly-thing menu). All I have is send to fax and
