Mail Format in 2003 vs. 2007
Hi... I recently (yesterday) upgraded from 2003 to 2007. In 2003, I would
email my pages to coworkers, and the OneNote page would be both an attachment
and appear in the body of the email. I found this very useful as many of my
colleagues do not have OneNote.
In 2007, the page is attached as both a .one file and a web page with a tag
encouraging people to download a trial version. When ...

Task Error in OneNote 2007
I have been using OneNote 2007 for about two weeks and really like it. It's
a tool that I've been looking for and works exactly the way I think. I've
run into a problem over the last week, though. I flag most of my work by
adding tasks with due dates. All was fine until a few days ago. Now, the
Task pulldown and all of the existing Task flags are greyed out. When I
hover over an ex...

Customer Survey, helping us understand you better
As some of you may be aware one of the biggest challenges is getting to know
our customers, the people like you! When we start designing and planning
the next release of Office we need to better understand who you all are.
Who is using OneNote? How they are using OneNote? What problems do they
face? Do you sit at a desk all day or are you always on the do with only a
mobile device? (...

Feature Request: Different Print Options
Hi there,
Love OneNote 2007 and think it is a fantastic product.
However, there is one feature I saw at www.isrybe.com that I absolutely
love.
Look at http://flickr.com/photos/59101336@N00/ and look at the Papersync
print options. That is just awesome to have something like this available to
print and then take with you.
Thanks again for a great product...

Web clipping improvements
Some of the things that I'd like to see in the next release of OneNote 2007
is better handling of Web page pastings.
Right now, the majority of formatting gets tossed out the window - I've
grabbed some pages (even from MS's own web site) and I loose the tables (I
think they used CSS tables - not HTML tables) - even line spacing gets lost.
This is most frustrating. I like the way that ...

How can I stop automatic table creation using TAB key in OneNote 2
I am quite used to being able to use TAB stops as such since I learned to
take notes using OneNote 2003. Now I can't find a way to make the TAB key
act like a TAB key. I get a table instead. How can I remove this annoying
feature?...

Onenote 2007 and .pwi files
I recently "upgraded" to Vista and Office 2007. I am dismayed to find that
my archive of .pwi note files (from my Microsoft poweredpocket PC) is no
longer viewabe! In fact, Microsoft's own web site claims to have no record
of the .pwi file extension! Any suggestions on how to recover my "lost"
files would be appreciated.

need a psh cmdlet
Would be coolness to have a powershell cmdlet go against the object model so
you get typed params etc. And input files of known types without need fro
some crazy xml input file (i.e. word docs, excel, pictures, etc)
PS c:\> Out-OneNote -file mypic.jpg -folder MyFolder
PS c:\> Out-OneNote -clipboard
PS c:\> dir *.doc | out-onenote

Integration with Vista 'Windows Calendar' application.
I'm looking to upgrade to Vista and Office 2007 primarily to start using the
OneNote functionality.
I currently use Outlook 2003, however I notice this isn't included in the
Home and Student version of Office 2007. I think I can just about live
without outlook, but how well does OneNote integrate with the Calendar and
Maill applications built into Vista?
Will I be able to create and...

Scanned Notes
I frequently have handwritten notes that I take while away from my computer.
I would like to get these into OneNote. Currently, I scan them and then print
them to OneNote. Unfortunately, this does not allow me to search the
information (no OCR)so I resort to manually adding a few keywords so that I
can do a search when necessary.
Has anyone developed an alternative method for converting...

Few needs.
1) Shouldn't there be an Undo Delete of a section?
2) I need paste of code from Visual Studio to work. Any add-ins yet? I
have looked. A context menu from in VS when right-click on code to send to
OneNote would be even better.

Preserving hyperlinks in clipped pages
Wondering if there's a way to preserve the functionality of a webpage when
it's clipped and inserted into OneNote.
From what I can tell, the image of the webpage is saved into OneNote, and
some aspect of it is searchable by OneNote. Yet the clipped element is
functionally dead. Namely, the hyperlinks are broken, etc.
#1: Is this correct?
#2: Is there a workaround?
#3: If #1 is ...

How to automate make text in image searchable
Hi,
I am using ON 2007, but I have imported a lot of material from ON 2003 in
which the images are not text searchable by default.
Is there a command I can do from inside ON2007, or a script I can run, which
will go through all of my notebooks, section groups, sections and pages to
make the text in all images searchable?
I can do them one by one, but it's over a year's worth of mate...

Send to pdf as attachment needs a "fit to page" option or should do it by
