Can I load OneNote 2007 on more than one computer?
I have Onenote 2003 on 2 computers: (1) my desktop and (2) a laptop
(that I use when traveling).
If I upgrade to 2007, I'll need to upgrade both. If I buy the new
version, does the license allow more than one install?

Multiple Instances of Onenote
To my knowledge it is not possible to run multiple instances of OneNote on
the same PC.
The reason for wanting to do this is that instances or not, there should
really be a function to allow people to have more than one notebook open at
the same time, ideally like Tabs in IE7. I frequentlky needs to reference

How to add a note to the top of a page?
I often have to add notes to a page with lots of other notes on it. I
typically want the new note to be at the top of the page. Right now, I have
to Select All (Ctl-A) items on a page and drag them down and then add a new
item at the top. Is there a way to do this easily without having to select
all items and guess how far down a page I need to push those items?

OneNote 2007 - Page Date Stamps
I am using OneNote 2007, having upgraded from 2003. I have a
problem/question about the time and date stamp on each page.
First -- is it possible to have that moved to a different location on
the page, such as the upper right corner (where it was in 2003). While
it is possible to cut/paste the date to another location, you then lose
the handy calendar attached to it.

Pen changes to scroll cursor during handwriting writing with pen
I have Fujitsu Table T4210 with One Note 2007 on Vista Business.
While I am taking the notes with my pen, the cursor randomly changes to the
scrolling cursor. You can usually see scrolling cursor when you click on your
mouse wheel. This happens after I write for a couple seconds. This problem is
very pretty consistent. It is very annoyting that movable cursor stops me

Sending emails to OneNote 2007 from Outlook Express
Hello,
Emails can be sent to OneNote 2007 from Outlook. Can this also be done with
Outlook Express?
I have outlook express ? and OneNote 2007. When I'm in Outlook, I do not
have the "sent to OneNote" option. however, I'm pretty sure I did it with my
OneNote beta version. Could it be that I did not select this option when I
installed OneNote 2007?

This is a crisitism.
I am using ON2003 and it has some bugs.
For example it sometimes does not recognaise a text copy.
When I copy the text and try to paste it,
it pastes not what I have just copied but the previous one.
There are some other deficiencies of ON2003 that was mentioned in this
group.

Download Link for OneNote 2003 - 6 months free trail
I misplace my printout when I registered Onenote 2003 on MS site, I received
a link and Key #, only have the key.
Anyone know where the 6 months trail for OneNote 2003 is? Can't find it it

What clipboard format does ON accept?
There's a recent thread about ON's inability to properly paste color-coded
text from source code in .net without first going through Word. Which is sad
because I can paste code snippets it into even Wordpad with proper formatting.

Hi,
I recorded all my classes this semester and used the recordings throughout
the semester. Now that it's over, I want to delete all the audio files and
reclaim the space.
I found all the audio files (searching on wma was the most complete way) and
deleted them out of the notebooks. Too bad there isn't a tabular form that

OneNote doesn't show in ActiveSync
I'm using OneNote 2007 with Outlook 2007 and ActiveSync 4.5 hooked upto
a WM5 device (SPV M3100).
I have installed ON on both the PC and the SPV, however the ON option
never appears in ActiveSync, so consequently my notebook isn't synced.
I've reinstalled everything several times but no joy. Everything else
works fine.
Any ideas ?...

License Lock Box
I'm about to convert my trial of One Note 2007, and one of the things offered
is to pay an additional $9.99 for the license lock box. As I understand it,
Microsoft will keep my download file available for three years, and I can use
it for multiple downloads. Is that correct? If so, does that mean I can
install it on all three of my own computers?

overall ON color with vista
I have OneNote 2007 on an XP machine and on a Vista machine. On the XP, the
overall color of OneNote matches and reflects the color scheme that I pick in
XP display properties. (silver, blue, olive). With Vista, OneNote is the
same bright baby blue color no matter what color I choose for appearance.
Any ideas? I would like to have OneNote match my Vista colors.

Can't print(send) to OneNote
I'm having great difficulty printing directly to One Note. I have the
"Send to OneNote 2003" printer driver installed. This specifies that print

should be directed to a file called "Sent Files.one" - this file does exist
in the specified folder.

Templates in ON 2007 question
Hi,
I tried using templates in ON 2003 but did not see any real benefit in my
application.
What I'd like to do is have templates where I can have spaces for Names, phone
numbers and companies etc so when I transcribe the important info from an
ansaphone message I can be reminded of the important notes to take. What'd be

Maybe it is a good idea that ON would allow to "hide text",
like one can do in acrobat professional.
In Acrobat, you can attach a "note" in which you can write a text.

Help with Sync to PC Phone
OneNote installed on PC and PCphone.
ActiveSync option/source Microsoft Office OneNote is Not visible and there
is no
possibility to select it. So there is no sync of OneNote between PC and
PCphone.
I have re-installed one note to the PCphone and re-installed active sync 4.5.

Mouse wheel flaky in OneNote
OneNote 2007 has some problem responding to mouse wheel events. It will
scroll intermittently only if I flick the wheel very fast. Normal wheel
motion is ignored. All other apps respond normally to the wheel. Using
Microsoft Intellimouse with latest version of Intellipoint on Vista....

using OneNote 2007 with different profiles
I am using several profiles on my computer (private, work,
administrator) but I want to be able to access OneNote data from any
of these profiles. I just thought I might change the storage location
in the options section appropriately (using a shared storage location
for each profile) but apparently this doesn't seem to work. Maybe I
should add I am using Windows XP Home and the shared drive ...
