Pros and Cons of Organizing Emails in Outlook 2007 vs OneNote 200
Hi everyone-- this is my first post in this forum.
First, if anyone from Microsoft is reading this, I'd like to let you know
how much I absolutely love OneNote 2007. It is so useful I can't even imagine
not using OneNote at home or at work, and I can't wait to see the new
functionality in future versions of OneNote!

Speech dictation errors
When I finish a sentence or a phrase, or have just paused speaking, the words
"and" or "when" appear in the text. sometimes the will appear two or three
times in a row while nothing is being dictated or typed.
My microphone and speech training seem to be quite accurate and the program
works with high accuracy other than this problem.
Any suggestions on how to stop this random word ins...

Unable to Rename Section Tabs within Section group
I have run into a problem renaming a section tab.
I have 36 Notebooks. The notebook I am having problems working with has 8

Strategy help for a newbie
Just started using OneNote today and would like some "strategic" suggestions
as it cleary is a very powerful tool. In short, I am preparing a series of

OneNote Printer Disappeared
There used to be OneNote Printer in my printers list.
This was very handy for things like printing a confirmation web page when a
physical printer wasn't handy, or getting maps and directions from web pages
and such.
But a month or so back it seems to have disappeared. Does not show up in any
of the applications I use.
Does anyone have an idea what happened?

Discussion Group Search
Is there a way to order the search result posts by date? In order to avoid
asking ?'s that have already been answered, I usually run a search of the
group. However, when I get 20 pages returned with stuff from 2004. etc.
included, I usually wnd up just asking the question as opposed to doing an

Grouping images - Feature Request

I create loads of quick reminders/instruction guides on how to use software.
This involves lots of screen clips which I then doctor to highlight the
correct button to press or menu to choose.
There are drawing tools that I can use in OneNote but they are anchored
separately from the screen shot. If you change the text before the clipping,
the clip moves but the highlight stays...

Add Different Time Zone Stamps that Stay Up-to-Date???
I work with people across a ton of different time zones and it would be ideal
if I could have their time appear when I click on their respective page. I
know you can insert date and time but it stays static.
Anyone know of any fixes for this?

using onenote with a shared calendar
In outlook exchange i created a meeting and saved notes within that meeting
using onenote. When i open the meeting i can see my notes that i saved from
onenote. My problem is that when someone else that has shared rights to my
calendar opens the meeting they cannot see the notes. We both have office
2007. Is there a reason why no one else can see my notes?...

Synchronization
The synchronization icon on the toolbar is always gray, so I can't click on
it. When I point to it, it says 'One Note is currently connected and
synchronizing changes'. When I go to 'File-Sync', all the options are gray
except 'Work Offline'
How can I fix this? Please help. Thank you....

how do you do a "find-and-replace" in OneNote?
I can't figure out how to perform the "find-and-replace" function which is
available in all other Office products. I got the "find" part and have 31

Changing the default OneNote template
Is there a way that I can change the default OneNote template? (the white
ruled one with a date and time stamp)? I basically want a different template
to show up every time I create a new section and not have to set a default
template for every section.

I have purchased OneNote and it appears to be tremendous productivity tool.
However, I would like to use it for handwriting recognition. I am working on

Creating a To do list with Time tracking/Time stamp
Hello,
I was trying to create a "to do" Checklist for tasks we do in our department
with time stamping.
We wanted create a list with check boxes and when the user marks the task as
completed by checking the box, OneNote would automatically add the date and
time stamp next to the item just like when you press "alt-shif-f".
Does anyone know how to do this in OneNote?

I need an extended color palette
The forty (40) colors of the Font Color palette aren't enough for me. I
would like to access an extended palette of colors, similar to the
"honeycomb" or "RGB" palettes available with Word. It would seem to me, that

Help quell my fears about losing my work...
This program looks great, but I'm just freaked out about losing my work since
there's no 'Save' button.
Do you think it's reasonable for me to be afraid that I will lose my work
since there is no 'Save' button on OneNote? Or should I truly believe that it
saves my work in real time and that I don't need to worry about that? Why or

New page inserted at top, not bottom
Hello, is there anyway to have a new page insert itself at the top of a list
of pages instead of the bottom?
Just to clarify. I have a notebook with a section tab at the top. Off to the
left is the list of pages for that section. If I create a new page, it is
always place at the bottom. Is there anyway to have it placed at top?
Maybe there's a simple add-in that would do this.

I changed the default font but this doesn't work
I need help!
I made a new template, with a default font different from Calibri and with
size 11.5 instead of the normal 11. Now I'm writing a document with that
template. When I change box it's fine, because it is with the font I want...
but when I press "enter" to go one line down, Calibri comes back!! Although
at 11.5 size. How can I solve this problem? It is getting really annoying!

Removing Links
I have a link in a Excel 2007 spreadsheet that I believe is giving me a Not a
Valid Reference error when I do a refresh to an linked Access table. If I go
to edit links and break the link it doesn't seem to do anything. It says
