Companies that use OneNote 2007 on a large scale
Hello all!
Our company is looking to possibly use OneNote on a large scale basis. I was
wondering if anyone knew the names of any other companies that use Onenote on
a large scale and possibly how it is being used?

Microsoft Onenote
I recieved a toshiba laptop (offlease refurbished) with out back up CDs and
the like. Windows was freshly installed and it came with Onenote. when i try
to use onenote i have to have a CD key which i do not have. any suggestions.
i will be emailing the company i bought the laptop from this evening.

Unified Notes
After inadvertently moving the section within Unified Notes to another
Notebook, I cannot restore that section or documents to the Unified Notes
Section. I can see the file in both My Documents and my sync file (root
directory for OneNote), and I can open it under Misplaced Sections. How do I
restore that Section to Unified Notes?...

Can I integrate OneNote 2007 with Lotus Notes ?
We use Lotus Notes exclusively at work and would like to be able to integrate
it into OneNote.
Anyone done this type of thing?
Generally looking to copy e-mail into OneNote, as well as Calendar entries.

ON 2007 always resets toolbars
For some reason, ON 2007 on my Vista biz 32 laptop always resets the
toolbars. It not only disappears entier toolbars that I've made
visible (like "my pens"), it also rescues individual toolbar icons
that I've tossed out of the usual toolbars through the customize
dialogue box.
Anyone else seen this behavior?...

Enhancing search on 64 bit Windows with OneNote

Hyperlinks
Hello everyone,
I am using OneNote 2007, and in my notebook I have created a table of
contents using hyperlinks to various sections of the same page. Then then if
I save the notebook packing it as a single file package and reopen it, the
links linking to sections on the same page no longer work, but the links to
other pages and locations will.
Any ideas?

How can I make OneNote open workbooks maximized?
When I click a hyperlink that points to an Excel workbook, OneNote will open
the file but in a small window instead of maximized within Excel. How do I

security of sharing notebooks
I want to keep my notebooks synced on my 2 laptops. If i make them shared
does that mean anyone on the network can get at them? i have a wireless
router at home and in my office. I've enable sharing and notebooks sync okay
but are they visible and accessible to everyone else on the network as well?
how do i secure this?

Tags and Notes Formatting
I have created some customized Tags and I have used them with my notes.Now I
would like to change the formatting of my Notes attached with particular TAG.
I changed the formatting (e.g by changing colour and highlighting) of TAG in
"Customize my Tags" but It has not effect on the Notes Formating.
What to do now?...

How should use OneNote
Hi,
I just started using OneNote and I am trying to decide how to proceed. I

TAGS Grouping
In a TAGS Summary Panel of One Note Navigator One can view the taged Notes
under various grouping styles. e.g by grouping in the form of TAG NAME it
will show all the Notes under thier respective TAGs in Alphabatical order.
What Can I do if I would like to see the respective NOTES in an order in
which they are written in the Notebook.

OneNote: Haphazardly deleting section files
I use an up-to-date version of OneNote 2007. Section files have been deleted
and moved to the recycle bin several minutes after moving them to another
notebook from within OneNote.
I have had this happen while I am working on the section, with OneNote
suddenly reporting that it cannot find the file anymore. This is repeated

sync problem
I keep my on files on a usb stick.
I normally work offline and when i am done at the end of the day i plug the
usb stick and sync eveything.
Hence i plug in a press the sync button on the toolbar.
I used to do that every day.
Now, the sync button is dimmed and i cannot press it.

Arrows overlapping, circle, square, rectangle, frame overlapping.

Hello. I am a Medical Student and use OneNote for organizing all my
materials. I frequently save files, e.g. pdf's, docx's, pptx's, in OneNote
itself so that I can find the original files when I am going through notes.

I cannot wait to see the ribbon in ON anymore.
It will substantially improve ON's usage I think because, as in word, it
provides
a much more structred acess to commands.

Outlook 2007 changing HTML Newsletters to Confusing Text
I did not have this problem with 2000 or 2003. When I receive e-mail
newsletters from various organizations, it is nothing but text and a bunch of

Multiple OneNotes on one computer
I just got OneNote and love it. I would like to use different OneNotes for
