Make some tabs look different
OneNote (2003 or 2007). Windows XP.
I have a user with a desire that I can't seem to find a nice solution for.
She has a tab (page) for each student. She would like to make a couple of
them (tab name) look different.
We've tried different font, obviously that won't work.
We've tried using flags in the name, didn't work.
She tried putting a * at the front of the name, that didn't work.

Onenote to Word - Outline Styles
I've been trying to transfer text from OneNote (2007) to Word (2007) and have
the outlining in OneNote show up as outlining in word.
Visually the text comes across nicely indented, but it doesn't have styles.
I've tried:
- Copy and paste
- Send to Word
- Save as Word
Non of these produces outlined documents in word.
Does anyone of have a way to pull info from OneNote into word so ...

Moving all OneNote Notebook info to another drive
I have OneNote installed on the normal system drive.
This drive can go bonkers occasionally causing a bit of grief.
Is it practical to move the data files to another more stable drive?
If this is a go exactly which files/folders do I move?
I only find 3 files indicated in the OneNote menus that I can move and
identify.
Also I find a folder under My Documents titled "OneNote Notebooks" n...

Missing Documents
I use ON between several users 5-10 transfering anywhere from 50 - 100
documents a day. We have had a problem with ON either duplicating documents
and or missing or deleting documents. Any suggestions?...

onenote shortcuts stoped working
the onenote keyboard shortcuts using the windows key (windows+S, windows+N
ect.)suddenly just stopped working. ctrl+C and windows+D still work. what

Change Page Tab Colors
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone knows how to change the Page Tab colors.
I know we can change Notebook Colors and Section Colors - but I can't seem
to change the Page Tab colors - which is something that would really make my
life easier (as ultimately I want to have a way to make the most important
pages easy to find by giving their tabs a different color so I can scroll

Audio Controls Disappear
After switching from one microphone to another, my Audio and Video controls
under Audio and Video Settings(from the A/V Toolbar) have become unuseable.
Under Audio there exists "Device", "Input", "Codec" and "Format" and Video
there exists "Device" and "Profile". All of the selection boxes have shrunk
to a width smaller than the word "Device" so I can't select a microphone.

Currently, when I do 'Send to OneNote' from IE, it creates a new page with a
template that i have designed.
What I would like to know is if there's a way that we can have 'Import to
new Section' in stead, so that in creating a new page, it creates a new
section.

Inking causes crash
I am running Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 in Windows XP Tablet
Edition 2005 Service Pack 3, both fully updated, on a Fujitsu Lifebook

How to stop extra spaces when converting from handwriting to text
When I convert handwriting to text in OneNote 2007 (on XP) an extra bank
space is inserted after words the were at the end of each line of handwriting.
All other words have just one space after them. It's just the words at the
end of a line of handwriting that have two spaces after them.
After converting to text, I have to manually remove these extra blank

Installing Thesaurus from older Office suites
When I first attempted to use the Thesaurus, OneNote 2007 prompted me to
insert my Office 2000 Premium disc, the most recent full Office package I
have. The install evidently failed. OneNote began giving me a 'buffer

Ability to link to any entity in Outlook
Would be a great advantage to be able to link to any entity in Outlook. This
way the entity would exist in Outlook, but could be referenced in OneNote.
One application could be project contact lists. This would allow the
OneNote page to be a list of people for which there are outlook contacts, but
would link to the contacts.

OneNote - Print Page Problem
Hello,
When I select
"Print"
"Pages"
and enter "1"
it prints the whole first 'PAGE' in the section of the notebook.
If this is simply how things are, that one 'PAGE' is 'Page 1,' then I think
the next version should call 'PAGES' 'TABS' and have real pages.
Does anyone know a way for me to print an actual '8.5 x 11' page off of this
'PAGE'?

Onenote Save As
Hello,
When I try to save a OneNote file as a docx the outputted docx is blank and
has a size of 0k. Has anyone seen this or know how to fix it? I have
already tried reinstallating office and this behavior is the same for any
logged on user.

OneNote - language corrector
I use OneNote in French and I have set the default dictionnary to French.
However, my french text is continuously underlined in red, showing spelling
errors, while English text shows up correctly. It is as if the french text is
being corrected by the english dictionnary. Any solution ?

OneNote Tags Summary Update Option
From what I am reading in this forum I do not think what I want to do is
possible, but since I am relatively new to OneNote, I thought I would ask
anyway.
I am aware of the Summary that I can generate for my Tags, and have
generated that with know problem. However, with a specific Notebook I am
consistently adding new pages and tags.
Is it possible to my Summary of Tags (of any sort)...
