OneNote can't start
I have installed onenote 2007 trial version. It installed successfully
but I get error when I try to start it.
Error code 0 × 570
Will anybody help me to solve this problem?

Powertoy add ons
I notice that many seemingly simple functions in OneNote are being
accomplished through the use of these Powertoy add ones.
It is great that someone is furnishing the time and effort to do this.
Are there any conflicts or downsides when using these and are they
recommended straight across the board?

Outlook Addin
Hi,
I have a problem with OneNote integration with Outlook (both from office 2007)
I have no button Send To One Note on Message toolbar. So I cannot send
message, contact, ..... into OneNote.
I tried to reinstal OneNote Addin for Outlook which is comming with Office
instalation, but it does not help.
Is there any solution for that problem?
I have OS Windows Vista .

Unique tags/page numbers in Onenote
I want to generate unique tags or page numbers in Onenote. I want to use
Onenote as a scientific research notebook, but I need to be able to
systematically label samples and programs with a unique label that is
findable in Onenote. For instance, I might name a sample JRK1-23a, where JRK1
corresponds to the notebook, 23 is page 23 in that notebook and "a" means
sample a on that page.

General usage questions
Hi glad you guys exist :)
is there a keyboard shortcut to open a new container whilst in an existing
one?
Can I use the draw function to draw in a container (i suspect not cause i've
tried but maybe i'm not doing it right) so that I can move the text and

Deleting templates (again)
I did the search on the MS community thing but no cigar.
I only use a few of these templates and wish to clear the others out.
Simply put: How do you delete or otherwise get rid of templates listed in
OneNote?
The supposed location in Docs & Settings merely shows me a small file I
cannot open to edit.

Feature requests
1. Layers on notes
I would like to be able to put overlayers of notes that I can make
invisible if I want. I prepare lecture notes in Onenote, and sometimes want
to annotate them during class, without modifying the notes so I can reuse
them next year. It would be nice to have layers for this purpose.

problems with output to and input from Word ?
Before I give up using OneNote and go back to just using Word 2007......
I've been trying out Onenote 2007 to use for gathering research for college
projects, but I will also need to produce & submit finished output in either
a Word or PDF document. Onenote doesn't seem very integrated/compatable with

Shared Templates
I keep my OneNote notebooks on a flash drive and use them on my home and work
computers. At home, I made my own templates. I followed the advice given
elsewhere in this group about saving the template section in the directory -
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033\ONENOTE\12\Stationery and

One error into a serie of errors... HUGE help!

I am using a licensed ON2007 and my OS is Windows XP.
There is a message that indicate me that it has happened an error and ON2007

Preventing loss of notes when opening updated OneNote file
I have a OneNote notebook (PKG format) that I update and distribute to many
different companies on a regular basis. Some of these companies add their

VoIP recordings in OneNote
I do a lot of teleconferences where I like to take notes, and would prefer to

Wish for next ON
As all new tablets now arrive with widescreens it is even more important that
the next ON-version makes it possible to cusomize so that most of the
toolbars can be placed on top or bottom, as the spacewidt is important to
keep for the handwriting.

I can barely find any text formatting similar to the rest of the office

I currently type my notes in Word because I can format them really nicely...
but in OneNote, everything is left-aligned, and there's not much

How To Set Different Default Templates For Subpages

Im trying to use OneNote to take notes in lectures and have been using the
lecture slides template, but when I create a new sub-page I want a custom
template for more detailed notes without the Important Points and other stuff
appearing.

Show Rule Lines when Printing?

When printing from OneNote2007, is there any way to have the rule lines show
up? Rule lines, or page lines, are the light blue lines that appear on every

Send To One Note Function - New Page or Continue on Old Page
Hi,
When I 'send to onenote' from IE, I can either send that webpage to either:
1) A new page in One Note
2) Added on to the bottom of the current page on One Note.
(Depending on which option you have selected in the settings).
My question is this:
Sometimes I need to send to a new page and sometimes to the current page.

ON 2007 not displaying web pages correctly.
I have Windows Vista and Office 2007. Whenever I send a web page to One Note
2007, the rendition of the page is so scattered. Even the banner is sometimes
scattered over three or more lines. If I increase the page width, it does not
correct the problem. I have tried doing a massive use of the delete button to
