How do I add lines to a page?
I am writing an outline, and the lines ended and now i am writing on gray,
and I don't like it. Please help! I am new to this and don't know how to do
much, but I know there has to be a way to make a page as long as it needs,
right?...

When switching between pages cyclically, it would be helpful to have the
cursor position/scroll position be remembered.

How do I creat a Notebook template in OneNote? Not a page.
I would like to creat a Notebook template in OneNote. Where I can click on
"New " pickup or click on "Notebook" and the popup shows my templete among
others. Or get rid of the other template, like "Student", "Client" and

ON07 Missing page scroll feature?
I have been using ON03 for some time. I purchased a new computer for my wife
and it had ON07 student installed. In ON03 I can view individual pages
quickly by holding down the left mouse button and moving the curser over the
page tab and the contents of that page appears. IN the ON07 student version
this does not work. It will move the tab. Has this feature been disabled or
do I need a ...

Rationalize end-of-line termination editing
I just experienced in ON 2007 a problem with end of line editing for text. I
had a line break I wanted to remove. When I went to the end of the first
line and pressed the delete key, the letters from the beginning of the second
line were getting deleted but not the line break. When I went to the
beginning of the second line and pressed backspace, the line break was

beta 2 technical refresh download
Can anyone suggest where I might find this download?
My Beta version of OneNote 2007 has expired and I am unable to purchase the
full version because it is not yet available for sale in New Zealand. From
reading some of the posts in this forum it seems the technical refresh
download will give me some extra time to keep using OneNote in the meantime....

Allow tags to be placed upon notebook sections or pages, such that they stand
out on their respective listings. Alternatively, allow the color of the
section/page in the listing to be changed.

Allow words to be tagged
Rather than just tagging an entire line, allow tagging of a group of one or
more words - with appropriate highlighting on selection of the tag.
Likewise, the availability of comments, as the rest of Office has, would be
valuable.

Pasting hyperlinks to files
I understand that ON offers the direct inclusion (not same as attachments?)
of file contents as a option that is seen to be more useful, but I want to
insert hyperlinks. I like that they are much more compact that the icons,
one per line, of the direct inclusion. There is no way I can find to change

Duplicate notebooks within one computer
I am not sure what I did to create a second copy of my notebook within one
computer but both keep in sync. How do I delete one copy? How do I keep 2
computers in sync using a memory card--not on a LAN. I do have Sprint WAN on

Help! - All my One Note files are corrupted??
I was having great success with OneNote 2007 until a day ago.
Went into a big meeting, opened up OneNote to view my presentation
notes, and to my surprise, got a message saying that "OneNote Crashed
the last time you viewed this page. The page may be corrupted or have

sharepoint web discussions with OneNote?
We're using OneNote 2007 with shareponit for collaborating on and managing

Need quicker launch from tray icon w 2007 version - slower than 20
Just upgraded to OneNote 2007. It is MUCH slower to launch via the system
tray icon than One Note 2003 to make a short unclassified note.
What can be done to get back to the old level of performance?...

one note on a laptop plus ...
Hi
Two questions:
1. Do I need to buy a second copy of One Note for my laptop in order to use
both my desktop and laptop to amend notebooks?
2. I can't find a 'Paint Bucket' tool anywhere, something which creates
filled color shapes - can anyone point me in the right direction?

Tab Colors
Is there a way to change the tab colors (the tabs on the right side of the
pages) so that tabs have different colors based on the page? For example, I
have PDFs copied into a dissertation folder, and want to designate
dissertations from one school in one color, and another color for a different

Real portability, flash memory and Registry issues
OneNote is the ideal application to be installed in a memory stick so that we
can carry our notebooks wherever we want, not being fettered to a particular
computer. Actually this is what it would made it useful for some of us. I
love OneNote and being able to have all my notes, schemes and web clips

Inking Issue on Desktop
Remember my inking issue on desktop? Well, my tablet is on the fritz
and I need to use my desktop to take notes. Everything, just out of the
blue, was working fine again (no large note containers). SO, I thought

Does Search in ON2007 find text in Section Tabs?
Our Notebooks have the following structure
Notebooks = teachers
Section Tabs = students
Pages = weekly lesson notes
We often want to locate past students' notes quickly via ON Search but
cannot. There are over 1,000 section tabs split across several teachers.
Does ON2007 find text in the Section Tabs? or just text in the Notes.

OneNote for Medical Record Keeping
Hi,
I run a private medical pratice and wonder if I could use On for my
patient´s medical records.
How to do it ?
create 1 notebook for each patient ?, (need 5.000, is that a problem ?), or
just 1 notebook with 5.000 entries knowing each entry has 9 sections?.
Any better idea for an app to be used for medical record keeping, using
handwrittting data entry?

mobile synch
I am unable to synch with OneNote2007 on my Windows Mobile Phone. The
instruction state that the OneNote will automatically begin the partnership
setup. This is not happening. Can anyone fill me on one what I may be
missing. Also, I tried the OneNotes Mobile Patcher by LaymanAid Soft, but
that has not helped.

Uninstall OneNote 2007 beta?
Hello,
I installed the OneNote 2007 beta; it has expired. When I try to uninstall,
I find an entry in Add/Remove Programs, but there is no button for
uninstallation. (Same is true for the Groove 2007 beta.)
How do I uninstall these programs?
