Will Office 2007 Home and Student edition delete Outlook 2003?
My concern, if I load Office Home and Student 2007, which DOESN'T have
Outlook, overwrite my 2003 Office edition which DOES have Outlook, leaving me
with NO Outlook? Or will the 2007 version simply overwrite the programs that
do exist from 2003, only (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)?

I need to use my 2003 Excel, can I upgrade parts of Office?
I am using add-ins for Excel that currently only work with 2000-2003 Excel
but I would like to upgrade to Office 07. During the installation, do I have
the option to upgrade everything except Excel (i.e. leave the older version
of Excel loaded)?...

Can't download Office 2007 Trial
Each time I attempt to download Office 2007 Trial I get an MIME error. The
error message states that I can't download the file type. When I download as
a "save" it attempts to save the file as a pdf. I can't find the .exe file.
I am running XP SP2 and Office 2003 Professional with Outlook as my mail
system...

Uninstalling Office 2007 Trail
I removed Office 2007 Trail, then downloaded the Office 2007 Proffesional,
now all my Office Programs [XP and 2000] (except Outlook) do not work.
When I try to open Excel or Word, the program the installer window pop up
but cannot find the exe. files, or sometimes reads "low on resources" . So,
by removing the 2007 Trail it must have removed part of those files.
Any help is appreciated...

can't install office updates KB925257, KB925534, KB924085
Hello,
I can't install updates for office, KB925257, KB925534, KB924085.
in windows update site, i'm downloading this updates to my PC, but then i i
can't install them. No error codes. also i sent manually theses updates. and
also get message-that i can't install theses updates.
any one has suggestion?

Using Office 2000, and recently needed to repair / reinstall Office, (and did
not first remove original installation) .
Are any downloaded automatic updates previously received over some years
then re-applied, and if not how do I ensure that they will be ?...

office 2000 upgrade cd
My laptop crashed so I used the restore disk wiping everything.
I have an office 2000 “upgrade†cd but when I try to install it I get the
message that setup can’t locate any eligible programs for the upgrade.
MS works is on the system and was the eligible program when I install this
same upgrade disk when I first got the laptop.
Why is it not acceptable now?

Where's Outlook on Office 2007 trials
I downloaded two versions of Office 2007, which states on their lists of
components to have OUtlook, but once installed no Outlook!

Outlook Express
I just installed Office 2003 update and it wiped out my email. When I set it
up again acording to instructions from my server I get and error message when
I try to send and receive. Socket error 10061, error number 0x800CCCOE. Any
helpful suggestions....

Microsoft Update Hangs when downloading Office Updates
Update:
I am going to repost this under office update. I just found that I can
download and install windows xp updates, but the process stalls on any office
updates (there are 3 I am trying to install).

Problem with Office Standard 2003 after reinstall
I recently reformatted my drive and reinstalled Office 2003 Standard. I just
ran the update for SP2, but I have not finished installing the rest of the
updates. Before I reinstalled, and updated to IE7, I had a Document Imaging
item(can't remember the exact name) in my printers folder that was installed
by Office. After updating to IE7, it was gone. After reformatting and

Excel 2007 and Access 2007
I just update my Office 2003 to Office Professional Plus 2007. I have made
problem when I have the files in both in Excel and Access, becuase I want to
use some extensions to link with other programs. But I can't save it to files
extensions like dBase and dbf files.etc. Could every can help me to solved
this problems.

Error 1603 on recent Office 2003 updates
This week, my company has pushed out the latest set of updates which MS
put on our WSUS server. On one of our laptops (Dell Latitude D620),
the updates for Office would not install. I have trying repairing
Office and Windows, but nothing worked. We have 300 other PCs in the
environment in which the updates ran successfully, including 9 other
laptops utilizing the same image as this laptop....

When do you fix the windows defender applic. failed 0x800106ba?!!
since new year, all the xp-pc:s have same problem: On start every time:
Application failed to initialize: 0x800106ba. A problem caused Windows
Defender to stop. To start the service, restart your computer or search Help
to start a service manually.
When do vyoy fix it?!!!

MS07-003 fails to install
I have an Office 2003 administrative install point. I downloaded the
MS07-003 security update for Office 2003
(office2003-KB924085-Fullfile-ENU.exe). Extracting this file produced two
..msp files (outlook.msp and olkintlff.msp). I then updated our Office 2003
administrative install point by running msiexec /a... for each .msp file.

Letterhead isn't working right?
In my office we have 4 PC's. 2 use Office 2000 and 2 use 2003. On both of
the 2000 pcs and one 2003 pc my letterhead works just fine. On the other PC
whenever I copy text into a blank letterhead document it deletes the
letterhead. This procedure works fine on the other PC's. My only thought is
the version of 2003 on the PC that doesn't work is 11.5604.5606 the pc w/2003

Unable to Complete Re-Install of Office 2003 (Can't find M4561414.CAB)
I recently changed computers and attempted to install Office 2003, but
received an error message that file M4561414.CAB could not be located.
I tried installing from my old Office 2000 CDs and my Office XP upgrade,
but the problem persists. Where can I find this CAB file or get around
