Unistall Office 2007 Beta
Downloaded from Microsoft Office 2007 end of last year. Deleted using Contorl
Panel programs delete would not remove the Beta from computer. The help
messages in this site reveal a common problem to all who installed this
unfortunate mess. Microsoft has moral obligation to come up with solution to

Remove an Administrative Installation Point?

that's scheduled for migration/decommissioning. We'd like to remove the

How do I get the EULA to stop popping up at office 2003 startup?
I have removed Office 2003 Business Pro (11.8118.8122) SP2 from my Dell
Inspiron with OS XP laptop, and installed it on my new Dell with OS Vista

Expression web - silent install
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but how can I install Expression
Web Designer silently?
The main office 2007 setup program uses setup /admin to create the answer
file and then setup /adminfile to use it but this doesn't seem to work for
Expression Web so what do I need to do?...

In my orginization we don't use exchange for our email. our email is
outsourced outside the company. our domain for our company is
companynamecorp.com but or email addresses for our users are

Directory Name is Invalid error
I just purchased a new HP computer with windows vista. When I went to
install my other new purchase; a copy of Office Ultimate 2007 I get the
following error.
"Directory Name is Invalid"

Setup .Cab Problem
Hi,
My problem is, i can't install Office 2007. Setup can't find Office 2007's
cab files(example ; OfficeLR.cab)
I searched, and i can found OfficeLR.cab in Office.tr-tr directory, but my
office can't found. I choosed target directory, but Office still can't found
this file.

Annoying Message
After installing Office 2003 on my new Vista Home Premium machine, I get
this annoying message upon opening any Office application:
Microsoft End User License Agreement - and one must accept EVERY time an app
is opened!
What needs to be changed to stop this annoying dialog?

Can't Install Office 2003 after Office 2007
I have attempted to remove Office 2007 from 4 machines. I was working on
other machines and when I came back all 4 had apparently crashed while
uninstalling because I was greeted with a "System has recovered from serious
error." Now when trying to remove office 2007 I recieve an error, "The
language of this installation package is not supported by your system." I
didn't notice this at...

Setup cannot find cab file
Hi all,
I have a problem with office 2007 ultimate setup.. The office setup
gives such an error: "Setup cannot find Excel.en-us/ExcelLR.cab file"
and it shows a file dialog to choose the right directory. The office
setup CD contains the requested Excel.en-us directory and ExcelLR.cab
file inside. I tried to copy all files to local harddisk and run the
setup. But it doesn't work.

Error installing MS Office 2007 Enterprise
Tried installing from the CD but it says can't find Excel.en-us\ExcelLR.cab.
I looked and the folder is there and ExcelLR.cab is also there, it keeps
saying it can't find it and quits the installation. I even tried copying the
contents of the whole CD to the computer and run it from there but
encountered the same problem. Any ideas from anyone? TIA.

Remove 'Welcome to the 2007 MS Office System' Dialog
I've installed Office Standard 2007 on a Win2003 Terminal Server.
After you launch Outlook for the fist time it comes up with the Welcome to
Office Dialog with the Get Online Help, Kep your SYstem Running and Make
Office Better Options. I do not want my users to see that. How can I get

Modifying a custom admin setup
I have created a custom MSP file and now need to modify it. Can you give me
the syntax in order to modify an existing custom install. When I point to my
msp file under updates and then try to save it, I get an error message

Can't set 'Open With' to 2007 on earlier versions of Office docume
Although I can access earlier versions of Word docs by opening Word 2007 and
then opening the document, when I double-click on an earlier document for
example on the desktop I can't set 'Open With' to Word 2007. From Open With

Office 2007-Std and Office 2003-Pro installed on same computer
A client of mine installed Office 2007 Standard on a computer that already
had Office 2003 Professional. It appears that both programs are installed.
Frequently, when he opens Outlook for the first time, it Office 2003 goes
into install mode and then finally asked for the CD.
Can I uninstall Office 2003 Pro without any problems?

How to convert OneNote from trial using VLK
I am trying to convert OneNote 2007 from trial to real version. We purchased
a license key (I think it is a VLK) and it is isaying the key is not valid
when I try the conversion. The license was purchased from CDW so I know it
is legit. The problem I have is we did not purchase the media as I believed
that my trial version would convert.

Office Docs won't open from Explorer
After I installed Microsoft Office 2007 Pro on my Windows XP pro machine, I
can no longer open office docs from Windows Explorer. When I double-click
on a doc, it opens the correct Office 2007 application, but the application
doesn't open the document. I've run the diagnostics and found no problem
with the installation. How can I correct this problem?

Office 2007 Ribbon
I have installed a copy of Office 2007 Standard on my Xp Pro/SP2
workstation. The install went perfectly. Office 2007 seems to work
as it should.
I have one problem learning the new version - the ribbon. My previous
version was Office 2000. Sometimes I just get frustrated over not
being able to find something.
