can't load microsoft office 2007
I cannot load Microsoft Office 2007 onto my computer. After interting the
disk into drive "D" it doesn't do anything.
I've tried using my computer option and clicking on drive "D" and again
nothing happens other than it sounding like it is trying to run.
Also used the option in the control panel and the same thing it trys to run
then I get a message to install a disk into drive "D."

Install Small Business Over Enterprise - Asking for Problems?
Am I asking for problems if I try to install Office 2007 Small Business over
an installation of Office 2007 Enterprise? My Enterprise version cannot be
validated (long story) and I want to install a genuine version of Small
Business to replace it. If it's not a problem, can I just run the install
program for SB (keep my fingers crossed)? Will it prompt me to uninstall the
version already...

Office 2003 Installation is requesting XP Pro CD2
I had the guys at work install a new hard drive and they gave me a
license for XP Pro - now I'm trying to install Office 2003 and it's
asking for CD2 from XP Pro... my IT guys said there is only one CD...
what am I missing?

ACCIDENTLY DELETED MY COMPLETE OFFICE APPLICATION
Does anyone know how to recover my Office XP application? I deleted it in
error. I've tried system restore and it does not help. I keep getting the
message "this patch package could not be opened". I've tried some of the
fix-its also. I read that there is an office applicaiton I can load from
scratch, but I can't find it. Does anyone know where that is?

2003 Pro validation
I own a fully licensed, full version of Office 2003 Pro. This was previously
installed on a computer running XP. In Feb. 2007 I had to purchase a
replacement computer which runs Vista as the OS. I installed Office 2003 Pro
without incident and can use all programs without error. However, everytime

Installing MS-Office 2000
Since last 14 hours I've been trying to install MS-Office 2K in my
WinXP Pro m/c. but MS-Office just refuses to install. Whenever the
installation progresses a bit, errors get generated saying this file
doesn't exist in the installation CD or that file doesn't exist in the

Cannot install due to beta
I am attempting to install Office 2007 Professional on a computer which had
the Beta 2 TR on it. I get the error that it cannot upgrade a prerelease
version with the new one, and to uninstall the prerelease version.
I uninstalled every Beta 2007 product from add/remove programs and renamed
OFFICE12 in Program Files/Office to OFFICE12OLD which i would suspect should
effectively declare it ...

how do i reinstall office after replacing my hard drive?
I have Office Student and Teacher 2003. it allows installation on up to 3
computers. my computer had the 2nd installation. the hard drive died so
we bought a new hard drive. i can still look at the old drive and see

How to Get Updates ?
I am re-installing Office 2003 from the disk, which is about 3 years old. I
need to update it, so I went to the Windows Office 2003 updates site, but
there are so many patches to download, and I do not know what to download.
Is there an automatic way to get the update I need?

Office 2007 Pro file associations do not work
My Windows XP Pro laptop had Office XP Pro installed and working fine, prior

Every time asking setup files
I am installing office 2000 premium for my clients. As I am the
adminsitrator, able to open the office application (word, excel, etc).
When the user try to open the application word/excel/powerpoint the system
asks the setup file with the path thru which I installed. If I installed thru
CD, it asks with the CD path.
How do I fix this?

Logon Dialog Box Keeps Poping Up
My Company recently changed their mail server, however our account names and
passwords stayed the same. Since the switch, the logon dialog box keeps
poping up for both of my email internet accounts. I can send and receive
mail and Outlook works fine - except for the Dialog box poping up. On my
other computer, which uses Outlook Express the settings work perfectly.

UAC in Vista has to be turned off to run MS Office
I installed MS Office 2007 Enterprise edition on a new computer with Vista
Ultimate 64 bit edition. It works fine if UAC is turned off but as soon as I
turn it back on and start any "office" program it goes into a set up. Then

Installing Outlook 2007 only with AutoCorrect
Hello,
I have Office 2007 enterprise version and have setup a custom silent install
using an .msp and config.xml file. that only installs Outlook 2007
However, the AutoCorrect features are not available (Tools --> Options -->
Spelling --> Spelling and AutoCorrection --> AutoCorrect Options...)

Office 2007 product installation has been corrupted.
Thsi is not a Beta. This is the Office 2007 Pro + package. I manage
the installs for the entire school district and I must be able to
install, uninstall and repair by script. I was able to install the
full package using the directions in Office 2007 Deployment document
