unattended install for language packs, /admin switch broke (?)
I want to push the Finnish and Swedish MUI to my existing Office 2007
installations. How can I create an answer file to preselect the options I
want in the MUI and run it without end user interaction on the machines?
The /admin switch return an error saying the needed files are not present in
both the Finnish and Swedish packs, so I'm guessing they weren't there to
begin with...

Configuration running in a loop and will not stop
My new office 2007 ultimate is installed ok, but when i try to open any
program the install goes into the configuration setup and will not launch
(although it will if I press cancel after a time).
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't fix the problem.
Any ideas?...

Invalid Parameter message after modifying a task
I have been using Outlook 2003 professional for a while, Just recently while
in Outlook 2003, I can change text in a task and close the box allowing it to
save. After that, I close Outoook and I receive this message:
One or more parameter value are not valid
How do I resolve this?

Office 2007 - "Show this number of Recent Documents" grayed out
Who can help me fix this problem?
When I open the Office menu in any Office application, the Recent Documents
list is empty. When I look at the program options (e.g. Excel 2007), under
Display in Advanced, I can not set the number of recent Documents that the
program need to show me on the Recent Documents list.

Having trouble with Uninstalling Office 2003

Product Key
Hi, I've had to reboot my laptop to factory settings and as a result i have
had to reinstall VISTA and Office Professional 2007 - My product Key was sent
to me by email but i can't import my back-up of everything because i've only
been able to open it as a trial version - i am sure that my product key was
saved somewhere online also but i cannot access this - can any one help ?/?

Office 2007 install tips
I want to install Office 2007 Standard. I now have Office 2000 installed.
Are there any special steps I should take? Any pitfalls I should be aware
of? Will all of my data files - .doc; .xls; .ppt - be accessible after I
install 2007? What about my Contacts, Calendar, Tasks from Outlook?
In other words, is installation going to be easy or a hassle? I will do the

Word 2007 - new/empty document contains macros?
Weird....when I launch Word 2007 and want to start a new document I always
receive a pop-up warning/error:
"The document contains macros. Macro language support for this application
is disabled. Features requiring VBA are not available. Would you like to
open this document read-only?"

Office 2007 (beta) uninstall utility
Hello
I thought I had uninstalled previous Betas of Office 2007 (including the
technical refresh) and Office 2003 runs fine on this machine.
Today I downloaded the Office 2007 Pro trial version but install stops
with a request to uninstall all previous versions of Office 2007 then to
restart the install.
Office 2007 does not appear in add/remove programs listing.

Office Professional 2007 Trial Download in Spanish instead of Engl
I downloaded this trial in order to try the professional version of Office.
However, it downloads in the Spanish language version. I never had the

DVD Trouble
My DVD drive will not recognize the Enterprise 2007 software disk. The error
is "Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it
could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows. Am I needing
some sort of DVD software on my computer?...

Office 2003 Setup
After a repair to my computer, when trying to open any components of Office
2003 Student / Teacher I recieve a message that says "Microsoft Office
'component' has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to
install the application" When I try to run setup I receive this message:

Outllook 2007 can't find server---any MS peeps here?
Please see my post from 5-1.
Outlook can't find our local exchange 2003 server unless the PC NIC has a DG
in place, which is not the way our network is set up as we are all ISA
Firewall Client users. How can I turn off Outlook "HELPING" me by checking
my NIC settings??????

Blue Screen of Death
I just loaded Office Enterprise 2007 last week and since then my computer
will get the Blue Screen of Death even while not in office and at random
times. Once while in office, once while online, another time while in
excel. I suspect it has to do with the install. Is there a way I can check
what caused the BSofD? I am running Windows XP SP2 with all the latest
updates.

quick access toolbar does not save after restart
It looks like a permission issue. As Administrator all is well, but as any
other user, even as a member of the admin group, the toolbar goes back to
default after restart. I installed Office under the Administrator account
which works correctly. How can I allow everyone to save their toolbar?...

The END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT keeps coming up even after I accept
I've installed Office SBE 2003 on a Vista Ultimate machine and have
successfully activated the software. However the Microsoft Software End-User
License Agreement dialog box still pops up ever time I open a Office
application i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook even after I’ve accepted/agreed

for office applications and the define the default profile for outlook.
I've read that in Office 2007 systems, this application doesn't exist
anymore and is replaced by setup /admin tag
