Office 2007 Professional on XP or Vista
In our department we are still using Windows XP SP2. Is it advisable to
install Office 2007 on XP or should we wait untill we are going to roll out
Vista?
I'm aware that XPSP2 does meet the requirements, but I want to know if the
performance and/or functionality under Vista would be better.
Tnx Harm

Hi:
I am trying to install Office 2007 on an XP system that has Office 2003.
I keep getting the error message, "Setup cannot find

Does anyone know about this, why it's happening, and how to fix it?
This is the second CD that I've tried when installing but neither worked.
I would REALLY appreciate it if someone knows how to fix this to repond to

Updating from Office 2000 to 2003
I am running Office Premium which includes Front Page. I have bought
Office Basic that only has Outlook, Word and Access. My questions are do
I have to uninstall 2000 or will 2003 update it and give me the .pst
file that can grow to 20GB? And, what do I do about all the updates I've
received for Premium 2000 if I uninstall it before installing 2003?
Thanks!

Save as PDF plugin requires installed printers?
I just installed the Save as PDF plugin for Office 2007 Suite. But
whenever I try to save a file it errors out by saying "No printers are
installed".
We are not allowed to install printers on our research campus
computers. My question is why does the Save as PDF plugin requires the
printers to be installed in the first place?
Is there any work around it?
Thanks

Inserting photos into Word.
Hi all,
I (or rather a friend of mine), running Windows XP Pro has a problem
inserting photos into Word 2003 documents. He can insert photos into
documents, but when he tries a print preview, the photos don't show up on
the page. They do not print either. Only the text previews or prints.
The way he has them inserted is either set to "behind text" or "in front of
text". If the photo ...
