Deleting Office Trail Version after it has expired?
Hi Y'all!
I have been trying to load my registered software of Office XP Small Business.
The trail version pre-loaded on this notebook I have never used and it has
expired.
After loading my Outlook Small Business it will not operate at all.
How do I eliminate the "Office Trail" that is on this ComPac Notebook.
In add/remove program,..you can only see, or excess the "Office Trail" in

Volume Licensing to Retail Upgrade Install
Does anyone know if you can take an installation of Office 2003 Professional
that used a volume license key and buy a Office 2007 retail box upgrade
version and get it to work and be legal????

Hard drive space required
MS Office 2003 Pro takes much more hard drive space than Office XP Pro, with
same installation type(minimal), i.e. with the same components installed.
Why?
There are no many difference in program functions.

Office 2007 Network (Mapped Drive) Save Issue
A recent issue with all Office 2007 applications has been giving me a bit of
grief. When an user tries to save a document to his or her network folder
they receive the following message:
u:\username\document.name' cannot be found. Check your spelling or try a
different path.

office 2007 shortcut bar roaming profile.
I'm told the new shortcut bar in office 2007 settings are held in
a .qat file in local settings. this means if a user logs of and logs
in somewhere else the setting is not copied with thier roaming
profile.
Anyone one know of a fix?
Microsoft goofed here.

Installing Office Enterprise 2007, Error 1913
When installing office, i get the message:
Error 1913, setup cannot update file C:WINDOWS/win.ini. Verify that the
file exists in your system and that you have sufficient permission to update
it.
I found an answer about clearing up the 'read only' button, this button was
already cleared.
I am the one and only administrator of this computer.
Who can help???...

Unattended Office 2003 setup
I'm building a new desktop using the unattended method.
I built a transform file (.MST) for Office Professional 2003, configuring
every Office Application to install localy to hard disk.
The problem is that every time a new user logs in to that workstation,
office keeps asking for the setup files, which are in a network share no
longer available.

Various re when switching computer on
Hi,
My computer seems to be a bit slow, particularly when starting up - I would
expect to be able to click & almost instantaneously should be able to open
either email (OE6), IE etc. I had my hard drive reformatted to try to cure
this but it still runs a little too slow for my liking. I have run msconfig

Office 2007 Small Business OEM - How do I install in newly built P
A customer of mine who is currently running Windows XP on a barebones system
wanted me to upgrade him to Vista Home Premium and Office Small Business
2007. His current machine will not run Vista so we decided on my building a

cannot show "My recent docs" under Office button
I cannot see any "recent documents" under the Office button and in the Word
options area under Advanced "show this nymber of recent documents" is

quickbooks migration
I have been using QickBooks Prem non-profit for ages. I just got a copy of
Office Accounting Pro 2007 and did the migration thing yesterday. It seems
like most everything is there but I do notice my account balances are off and

Word 2007 spell check, chipping away...
Using the "rename HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared
Tools\ProofingTools\1.0\ " method, it seems I have it working on
new documents, but legacy docs, even if I use the method of pasting
them into a "new" document, Word doesn't react to misspelled words.
Anyway, looking for the big fix here as I've a lot of old documents

Microsoft Beta
I have a corrupted Microsoft office Beta software on my laptop and my
computer will not allow me to REMOVE files. It is saying file corrupted,
reinstall. I cannot find the original trial download on my computer and the
original Beta is no longer available for download. How can I manually remove

Groove 2007 high cpu utilization
We have 5 PCs. On 3 of them Groove 2007 was installed and quickly shared the
workspaces. On the other 2, they quickly achieved 100% utilization and
remained there for over a day.
We have followed the discusion in other threads, but nothing works.
Any idea on how to resolve the 100% cpu utilizatoin issue?...

Need to reinstall Powerpoint and Access from MS Office Small Busin
In 2002 my Dell computer was ordered with preinstalled software (Microsoft

Feature ID Not Registered

Purchasing Office 2007
Having just purchased a new PC together with software etc etc I got home and
loaded the new Windows Office 2007 software.
I wanted Word, Excel and Outlook. Regretably I do not have Outlook but
Powerpoint instead. Having mistakenly bought the Home and Student version

I bought Office 2007 Small Biz edition. It came with nice plastic box.
I installed it on Notebook PC and activated. I had no problem with that.

Office XP Auto Install and Windows 2003 Server
