Office Professional 2007/SQL Server 2005 Express
Just purchased the upgrade to 2007 Microsoft Office Professional.
Installation of Disc 1 went well. In trying to install Disc 2, it apparently
installs SQL Server 2005 Express by default. I've tried iit in both my PC and
my portable and on both I get a stop code error 50 (and the blue screen of
death) for a pagefault_in_nonpage_area during the instalaltion of SQL Server
2005.

Trial Version
I downloaded the trial version of office 2007 and put in the product trial
key provided in the e-mail, but none of the keys unlock and it still says its
out of date. I tried re-starting the computer and checked all applications
yet everytime I open office it asks for the product key and follows through
with the same initializing process. Any help would be much appreciated as I

Cannot install Office XP Pro with VISTA Business
I cannot install Office XP Pro with Vista Business....I don't need to upgrade
to Office 2007....how can I work around this...I have all permissions and am
a admin, I get this error when I try to install:
"Error 1913.Could not update the INI file C:\Windows\system32\mapisvc.inf.

i cant register oneNote 2003 on internet,iam in kenya

Convert handwriting to Text, for Japanese in Office 2007
Hello group,
I have Office 2007 installed on Windows XP. I am working with a friend
to translate Japanese to text. Currently, we are able to type in
Japanese. Next step in our project is to draw the character and have

Office 2007 Enterprise
Hi Since i have installed Enterpise, i now find Outlook Calandar and Contact
folders in my other folders.
Can someone explain what they , why and how do I get rid of them. if I
delete, they just come straight back

Access 2007 upgrade: no CD required?
I've just installed Access 2007 upgrade version, after Office Home and
Student 2007 full version. I expected to be prompted for an older
Office Pro CD, but it seems to have installed with no CD required.
Is this normal, or am I suddenly going to need the old CD?

Office Professional 2007 install
I attended the Tampa "ready for a new day launch 2007" last week and received
the necessary keys for free copies of Office Professional 2007 and Office
Groove 2007. I had previously installed Office Professional 2007 (BETA)
which was working fine. When I returned home and tried to uninstall the beta

I think something is wrong with my config.xml file
Hello
My config.xml file isn't working properly. Its located in the root of my
install point along with Setup.exe When I run the executable, the
installation takes about 30 seconds, after which the dialogue box pops up and
says Office has been successfully installed. However, when I check under All
Programs, office isn't there.

Setup of enterprise 2007
during the setup of enterprise 2007, i keep getting a msg that it can't
locate "word.en-us\wordlr. The file is on the disk, when i select it, i then

Office 2007 Beta Blocking Install of Office 2007 Trial!
I have uninstalled the Office 2007 Beta successfully, but am still blocked
from installing the Trial version. The Beta did NOT include the Technical

Academic Office Pro
I am a full time student. I went to the bookstore but all they had was the
Academic version of Office Pro. I bought it but now I wonder if I can
install it on mylaptop and my desktop.
I noticed in the documentation is specifically said the regular student and
teacher version could be installed on 3 computers. Should I return my pro
version and go get the student version at Best Buy?...

Windows Installer Pop-ups
I upgraded one of my PCs from Office 2002 to 2003. Except for a crash at the
end all seemed to go well. Eveything works but I am constantly getting the
Windows Installer window opening with "Preparing to Install". It seems to pop
up every time a document is opened. Driving me nuts.

I did a system restore how can i get back Office 2003?
My father bought the software for his computer but let me install it on my
computer. I got some sort of virus and had to do a system restore and now I
don't have Office 2003. My computer will not let me go back to when I had it.
How can I get it back since I dont have the disk or the key?...

MS-Access runtime 2002 gives a "Please wait while Windows configur
Client used system restore point to go back to a previous
date. Now access run time 2002 (used by our software) keeps popping up the
message "Please wait while windows configures Microsoft Access 2002 Runtime"
everytime we try to run the software or even click on the 'MSACCESS.EXE'.

Office 2007: Setup has encountered a problem during install
I have a Dell Optiplex GX520 with 1gig of RAM and 100gig of free disk space.
The PC has Windows XP Professional and Office 2003 Professional (all service
patched and upto date). I also had Visio 2007 beta running.

Validation Failed because of Other Office Trial ?!
Got Office 2007 Home/Student. Finally am able to install it. Now I try to get
a nifty little add-on to "Save as PDF" on Microsoft's site. The validation
tool stops me. It says I have a valid Office 2007, but it complains about
Small Business Office 2003.

Setup failed and then removed my Word and Excel !!!
I'm trying to install the "Office home and Student 2007" upgrade. When it
asked me for the key I put in what was in the package that I just purchased.
Later on setup complained that it found an error:
"Error 1707. Setup cannot find required files...." then told me to look in
....\office11\1033\setup.chm" which talk about putting a valid key.
At this point, setup undid what it was doing. ...

Upgrading Trial version of Office 2003
I have Office97 Professional Edition on an old computer. I also have a new

Excel problem when shutting down Excel
Good Day,
I did a install which was an upgrade from our Office 2003 Plus to Office
2007 Plus on three desktops including mine with no issues.
I then upgraded another user who has a laptop. The laptop has all the
