Reinstalling Office 2003
My hard drive crashed a couple of months ago. I was able to rescue my
programs and data, but my registry is gone. I have Office 2003 Standard
Edition files and program copied back onto my new hard drive...but it's not
installed. I had a trial edition pre-installed and I downloaded the permanent
version, so I have no installation disks. Is there anyway I can reactivate
Office 2003? I have...

Adobe Acrobat's pdf toolbar is a real pain in MS Office
I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional, and it insists on opening its little
toolbar on a separate line, thus taking up some of my screen. When I close

get an error message every time I start and close MS Word, with this message
"Compile error in hidden module: AutoExec". It's Adobe's marketing that

Change font size in toolbars
Hi All,
Though it will take some time to learn the newer layout scheme of Office
2007 in the toolbar, is there a way to make the fonts in the toolbars larger
or bolder for easier reading? I can see them OK, but my wife's vision is not
good, and with the candy land toolbar colors of blue, black and silver, they
make it especially hard for her to see.
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Tom

Offfice 2007 install on 400MHz system?
Does the Office 2007 Standard setup routine check processor speed and
prohibit an install on a 400Mhz system? If so, what is the switch setting to
over-ride this? The system requirements say 500Mhz but I don't do anything
super fancy and Office 2003 performs just fine for me on an old P2/400Mhz
system (XP SP2).
Thanks,

Setting config.xml to read AD information
Is it possible to configure a config.xml file to pull the USERINITIALS and
USERNAME fields from the AD login?
Many of the machines on our campus have been preset with generic
information. We're hoping to somehow reset that information, without asking
1500 customers to input their names.
(I'm not committed to the need to pull this information from AD; it just
seemed like the logical...
