Setup cannot find HomeStudentr.WW\HomeSrWW.cab
I'm trying to install the Office Home and Student 2007 on my laptop with XP,
but it gets about halfway across the installation progress bar and this
browse for folder box comes up. When I ok the HomeStudentr.WW folder as the
installation source, it continues for a while and ends up right back the same
point, saying setup cannot find the same HomeStudentr.WW\HomeSrWW.cab.
Any ideas or s...

Can't open help files in office 2007 professional
I installed Office 2007 professional about 3 weeks ago from the X12-30196.exe

to open the Help file in any application I get the message "There is a
problem with one or more installed help files. Please repair your Office
installation and try again." I run Repair and it says it finished

Office 2007 silent installation
Hi, I got a pretty simple silent installation going on here but would like to
change the install directory. Stupid thing doesn't work even if I use the
sample they give me on Technet. It keeps giving me an invalid install error
message. It goes away when I take the INSTALLLOCATION line out. I'm just
testing this out on a Virtual PC 2007 XP installation and running it from the
local ...

Cannot activate Office 2007 Ultimate
HI, I've just installed Office 2007 Ultimate. This is the premium product,
is totally legal and not any kind of Beta or "early release" version.
I had previously used Office 2000 and I chose the "Upgrade" installation
option and opted to "keep all previous versions".
Now I have several problems / issues.
1) Everytime I start Word 2007, it prompts me to "activate". I try to

Uninstalling the expired Office 2007 Beta
I am having a tough time uninstalling Office 2007 Beta which I installed
earlier, & which has expired.
Well, the problem is that the uninstall requires file
Pro.WW\Setup.xml, which it cannot find, & so it simply does not uninstall
the Beta.
So, can anyone guide me what to do????...

Office 2007 reinstall new machine
I have recently purchased Office 2007 and installed it on my XP machine. My
husband is telling me I should get a new machine with Vista. Will I be able
to install my Office 2007 again on a new machine should I decide to retire my
old machine that's about 5 1/2 years old? I have already activated my Office
2007 and would really like not to have to purchase it again.

Thanks for your reply!
Yeah, that's the same message I get. I'd like to keep Office 2007 but not
ready to purchase quite yet. In the meantime my trial has expired. What I
don't know is, is if I should leave the corrupt file(s) in my computer. I'd
like to reinstall Office 2003, but not sure if I should with the corrupt
file. As I'm typing I'm trying to get a good backup (even having trou...

I have taken over the I.T. support for a new client of mine. They have
Outlook 2000 Premium which is patched to SR-1. 2000 Premium was installed

They currently use Internet Mail and I am in the process of moving them to
Exchange. However, when I try to reconfigure mail support in Outlook, it
prompts me for the Outlook 2000 Premium SR...

2007 Ultimate will not stop asking for product key
I have a proper key for Office Ultimate and probably every second or third
time opening Outlook, I get asked for my product key. I put it in and the
green check comes up and then it goes through an installation routine. Click
finish and then it's done. But then it will ask again after opening a few
more times. It is kind of odd. It is an MSDN key but no other PC has the
same issue.

New page has no header
Hi All
Strange one this.
Every time Word 2003 starts up or the New doc button is clicked to start a
new one the cursor starts at the very top of the print layout. As if there
is no header whatsoever.
As soon as you click on Headers and Footers to show the header and then
mouse click below the default header, the cursor flashes in the usual, what
I would call, default place.

Question On Office 2007 and systems slowing down in response time
Good Day,
I have noticed after installing Office 2007 that the systems seem to slow
down a little. Like the response time.
We are running Exchange 2003 SP2 and all systems have Windows XP SP2.
Outlook is open most of the time and really never closed on our systems.
Most of the systems have about 512 to a gig of ram with decent CPU speed.
What I am noticing is that the m...
