How to access MS Office Document Scanning
I have MS Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003. I didn't install it,
someone else did.
When I go to Start > All Programs > MS Office Tools > MS Office Document
Scanning, I see this error message:
"This action is only valid for products that are currently installed"
Is MS Office Document Scanning included in my edition of Office, and it just
didn't get installed, or is ...

[Office 2007]Setup quits unexpectedly on the 'title screen'
When attempting to insall Office2007,
The setup program quits a few seconds after the
'Setup is preparing files' window comes up on the screen...
Here, it says that that is caused by
"This problem may occur when your operating system file system is damaged,

Microsoft Genuine Advantage - Office 2003 Validation
I have a genuine copy of Office 2003 which was activated when new.
All of the applications loaded run and confirm that they are activated when
I run Help-Activate
I can no longer access the microsoft downloads site as the new validation
software gives this error message:
"This computer has failed validation. Expand for details.

Office 2007/Vista setup problem
Hi,
I have a problem with Office 2007.
After installing the product, each time I want to use Word, I get an office
installation/setup window (trying to translate the french message). That
happens with every Office products (word, excel, ppt,etc...).
It's like if Office can't be save the configuration..
So my question is how to find an issue for this problem.

Vista and Office clock problem
Sounds like a system problem moreso than an Office problem. Try posting to a
group for your version of Windows to see if anyone there has an answer.

Office 2007 beta does not uninstall
I have testing beta for some time now and as u know, it has expired. I wish
to take up Microsoft's offer to download the full trial version. The email I
recieved from microsoft instructed me to uninstall the beta version before I
install the trial. When I try, I receive the following message:

Non-Volume Office 2007 downgrade
We purchased 2 Microsoft Office Profession 2007 and 4 Office Basic 2007.
These are OEM and are not volume licenses. Can I downgrade these to 2003?

Excel 2003 Pro w/ SP2 - Page Break Preview Problem
I have a user A, who created a file on his Excel 2003 w/ SP2, and then he
email that file to user B.
When user B open the file on his Excel 2003 w/ SP2, everything seems to be
fine, except when he go to (View-Page Break Preview), it shown 4 pages
instead of 2 pages.
I have comfirmed with user A that he have checked his file and it shown only
2 pages under Page Break Preview.

Migrating Office 97 to New PC
I have Office 97 in an old PC running Windows 98. I now would like to move
it to a new PC I purchased that's running XP. The Office 97 software was an
upgrade version that required the PC to have Works installed. Although the

Office 2007 Admin Install Add-Ins
I have added command lines to include the Excel2007GetStartedTabSetup,
Word2007GetStartedTabSetup, PowerPoint2007GetStartedTabSetup, and

I cant find it in the registry i know it will be there. i found the

Can´t install Office 2007
I can't install Office 2007 on my XP. It says that there is a
different installation language, even when I switch from my Spanish
version to the English!
I'd like to enjoy the functionality of 2007, but I'm stumped.

Can't install or uninstall MS Project 2003 - WIN2K
Office 2003 installed and works fine. MS Project 2003 installed at same
time. Program is listed in Start>Prg>MS Office>MS Proj 2003 but properties
show a blank application target. Clicking shortcut says "Action valid for
Products currently installed".
Install wizard says "..another instance is present...remove previous
instance using add/remove". Not listed in Add/Remove....

Has anyone any experience installing the Multi-Licence-Pack (English) ?
I have Volume Licensing CDs
79P-00031 Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007
79H-00100 Multi-Language Pack 2007
The MLP disc installs but still only English available.

Change software language
Hi!! I've a cousin who bought for me the Office Enterprise 2007 but it is in
Brazilian Portuguese... I want to know if it is possible change it for
Portuguese from Portugal or to English... I've some kind of paranoia about
Brazilian Portuguese.. *laughts*.. So, I would like to change it.

Removing Office 2007 causes issues in Office 2003
I was trying the 2007 trial version and when the expiration came and went on
3/31 I was in the position that I needed to remove it and continue using my
purchased 2003 version until I can afford to update it. However, when

Outlook 2003 "Application Hanging"
I am having difficulties with "Application Hanging" in Outlook 2003, when I
Send/Recieve to an account on an IMAP e-mail server, in Windows XP Pro. I'm
using MacAfee Antivirus 8.5, and have unblocked several of the options in the
