customize look of folder
I'm using Office 2003 and want to customize the look of some sub-folders,
specifically would like to change the color of the icon. (I found the place
to "customize" by adding a picture, but I'd like to know if I can change the
color instead.) I found a link about the "customization wizard" that's
available in newer versions... is anything possible in 2003?

Free MDI Viewer?
Does anyone know of a free MDI viewer that works? I've searched google and
found two different programs that claim to open .MDI files but I can't get
them to work (CoolCap & MDI Image Viewer). I get these files often so does
anyone know of a solution?

Insert Hyperlink in Outlook 2003
No longer works on my boss's computer. It looks like it works, because
it inserts the url as blue underlined text, but when she clicks on the
link nothing happens. It even displays recently visited URLs as
purple. It knows they aren't plain text because you can't change the
text color, or remove the underline.
This only affects HTML mail. Plain text, and RTF work fine. HTML mail

2007 Compatibility Pack - GPO for SaveAs 2007 documents
Downloaded Comp.Pack and ConverterAdminTemplates. Installed, applied GPO, etc.
But those ADM only affect the default format for save-as *Off2003-documents*
(in Off2003-apps). When I open a Off2007-document (with Off2003+comp.pack),
default Save-As keeps being Off2007 (docx and such). I would like to let
users open 2k7 documents, but I would prefer them not saving again as 2k7.

Exporting Excel Data to a Calendar
Do you know if you can export data from an excel spreadsheet to a calendar
template? I have information on programs and # of computers needed for each
date for the entire year. I would rather import that information than take
the chance of a data entry error. Any ideas?...

dialog box launch button as whole bar below group
Below each group on the ribbon is a bar with a dialog box launch button on
the far right. Other than that tiny button the bar has no function. But it
seems that the whole bar could be clickable, saving quite a bit of time and
patience navigating the pointer to launch the dialog box.

Upgrade from Office 2004 to Office 2008
In the process of upgrading to OS X 10.5, my hard drive got zapped. Replaced
the drive and have a fresh install of 10.5 up and running. I have a full
back up of my documents but not my applications. I was using Office 2004 but
I don't have the disks. I've got the student edition of Office 2008 to

PROBLEMS after updating Office 2008
I can no longer open ANY of the office 2008 programs on my Mac osx!! When I
click on a program - for example: Entourage - it takes me to the Customer
Experience Improvement Program. I've responded "No, I don't want to
participate at this time" and then clicked continue. Thereafter, I was taken

Unable to Repair or Reinstall Office 2007
I used PC Mover to migrate one laptop (Vista Premium 32-bit) to another
(Vista Ultimate 64-bit). I migrated both 2003 and 2007 versions of office.
I've tried to repair the 2007 version under the Add or Remove Programs but it
tells me that the install is corrupted and to reinstall from the CD.
When I reinstall from the CD (which is an upgrade), it won't recognize the

Office 2003 Key wont work with new laptop with trial office 2007
Hi,
I just got a new laptop. It has Vista Home premium and the standard trial
version of Office the details: Microsoft Office Word 2007 (12.0.4518.1014)
MSO (12.0.6013.5000)
Through my employer I can access the Microsoft Home Use Program and I bought
a full version of MSO 2003. I try using this key on the trial version of

citation in Microsoft Word
I can't figure out how to get the actual citation to appear in my paper. It
comes us saying {CITATION Bar 87/11033} but when it comes to printing it is
says invalid source specified and thats what also comes up when I toggle
field codes. This is so important because its coming up like that in all my
papers and this is for college classes....

OFFICE 2003 - MICROSOFT DOCUMENT IMAGING (MDI) IN WORD
I am using windows Vista Service Pack 1 with office 2003
Every once in a while the MDI disappears from the Print Utility in Word and
reappears a few days later by reloading itself automatically.
How can I reinstall MDI and set it permanently in word so I can convert
..pdf files to either .mdi or .tf files ?.
