Remove default text in form field
I'm looking for some clarification regarding forms in Word.
I would like for a user to be able to click inside a text form field and
have the default text automatically be removed, as it does when you press
tab. Currently, when a user clicks into the form field, the default text is
wrapped around whatever content is added and must be deleted manually.
Is there a work-around for this? ...

with a table containing a gray background colour and another background
colour (red) above this with variable length, representing a value. I pasted
it from IE to here below, but just like in Word, the red colour is not

Duplexing and changing paper trays at the same time
I have been able to get a document with sections in it to print in duplex
mode successfully. I have also been able to successfully switch paper trays.
when I combine the two, however, I cannot get it to print correctly.
In order to get the printing to work, I tried to print the most simple test
I could think of. I printed a four page document (since it was duplexed, it
was a two page p...

Default Window View
I am using several documents in 2007. I want the window view (size, shape,

documents. Instead, whichever document I open first, all others open with
those specifications.
Is there a way of saving, within a single document the window shapes?

How do I add section breaks in VBA?
I'm interested in having my entire document protected except for a
single word which I need the user to be able to edit a hyperlink. The

section 2 (which is the line with the word I need unprotected). This

Gutters. What's the point?
Some features seem to persist from version to version of Word. One such
"feature" is the ability to set gutters for a document on the Page Setup,
Margins tab. As I understand it this option is there as a quick fix for users
who decide to bind their document and find that they haven't allowed enough
space in the margin to handle the dead space which the binding method
creates.
However...
