Mouse scroll wheel does not work in Word 2007
I have Word 2007 on two different computers. This one will not let the
scroll wheel work in Word. It works fine in Excell 2007. I am using a
Gateway mouse that has worked fine.
My other computer works fine. No problems with the mouse....

copy and pasting word doc
Hi I saved a copy of my resume on a floppy disc. Iam trying to copy and paste
it online and when i go to highlight the resume a box with dots surrounds
some of the text and it just highlights that specific area. What are those
boxes and how do i get rid of them? When the border of the box pops up and i
put the arrow on the border it turns into a 4 headed arrow. I can also make

Use Word 2003 keyboard shortcut in File menu in Word 2007.
Is it possible to enable the keyboard shortcut mappings for the File
menu in Word 2003? i.e. in word 2003 Alt+F+U was Page Setup, but now in
2007 it shows the Publish menu in the office button.
I find it weird all the rest of the 2003 keyboard shortcuts are in place
except for the one File menu....

How can I get word to open on a specific page?
Hi,
I used Word 2003's Calendar Wizard to create a calendar but each time I open
the calendar it starts at page 1 (January) so I either scroll to the
month/page I want or use Goto. How can I get the calendar to open on a
specific page or at least on the last page on which I entered data.

Cannot open docs or emails writen in Office 2003 - am using 2007
What do I require? Compatibility Mode shows up on toolbar - does it need
some specail action to allow it to recognize Word 2003 or other word
processors? This is frustrating when using my previous files that were
written in Word 2000 or Works 8.0....

Default Line Space setting Word 2007
The default line spacing is 1.5 with 10pt space at the end - I know how to
re-set that per document, but how do I make the default different? (I want
line spacing to be 1 with 0 pt at end) - I can't seem to see a setting
anywhere in options....

Replace cannot find Paragraph Mark
I need to replace what appears to be a paragraph mark in a big document.
There are 3 in a row. This document was a text file (.txt) that I opened in
Word 2002. When I wanted to get rid of 2 out of 3 of the marks, the
find/replace could only find 1 paragraph mark, the one at the end of the

When I want to save a document in office 2003 I have to type the date
manually into the "Save As" box.I'm using the freeware Tclock exe in my
taskbar.From there I'm able to copy & paste the time & date into any programs
exept into Office 2003 [Student Teacher] What I'd like to know is how to

How to set right margin in Outline mode
I am using Word 2003 with View -> Outline. I have set File -> Page Setup ->
Orientation to Landscape but the text in Outline view continues to wrap
about mid-page. When I switch back to Normal view the wrapping is where you
would expect it in Landscape. My problem is that I have a document with
many Outline levels and the wrapping is starting to make it look like a long
line ...
