I created a link between Word 2003 and Excel 2003 using a copy/paste special
procedure.
I just discovered, however, that if I change my excel file (let's say, by
inserting another row), the Word document links don't work. I must be
missing something. How can I make it so that the cell reference changes?
Also, when I'm in the Word document, what does this mean?: Sheet1!R1C1" \a
\to

Whenever I try to use a numbered list in Word, it crashes
Whenever I try to use a numbered list in Word by using the numbered list
button, Word will crash. If I start typing the numbers, it doesn't crash.
However, if I then try to use the indent button, to get the sublevels, Word
will crash. Is this something introduced by a recent Service Pack? I
haven't seen crashes this bad or frequent in Word before.

"Microsoft Word 2007 has stopped working"
Installed Office 2007 on Vista Laptop. Sometimes get error message
"Microsoft Word has stopped working". It then restarts automatically,
sometimes after stating that it is looking for a solution - or some such
words. I have always been able to recover but does anyone know the
cause/remedy?

Where can I complain in more than 10 words?
I really need to find me a resume asap. All the programs on this computer
totally suck. I'm not Einstein. I don't know what to click. This needs to be
much more straightforward. Your programs are totally biased towards smart
people. The stupid people of the world are very upset. Fix this....

Character Map Key Assignment
I am typing text for a booklet on card games. I need to make the club,
diamond, heart & spade available on the keyboard. How do I assign the
symbols from the character map to the keyboard? Can I use function keys 9,
10, 11 & 12 for the assignment? If yes, I would appreciate detailed
instruction on how to do this. If no, please make a suggestion.

Word 2007 spelling & grammar check
Hi,
When I use the spelling & grammar check in Word 2007 I get this message:
"The spelling & grammar check is complete. text marked with "do not check spelling & grammar" was skipped."
Can someone please tell me what I need to do so I can check everything?

Folders in address Book
Can I manage the folder Order in Address book. Like when I start writting a
new email and click TO for choosing the address from Address book. It takes
me to Golbal Address option and I have to Scroll down and have to search the
Contact folder and then Select the specific Address.. is there any way that I
can set Contact folder by default. Everytime I clik TO button it should take

Word 07 Challenge - Line Creep
I know I'm over thinking this and need the benefit of your experience.
I have a document that I've created. It has a table layout that resembles a
legal pad which is in header/footer layer. The baseline of my first line of
content is close to the bottom cell border that makes up the line across the

technical documents, in this case a parts list. We prefer to have the

Macro for Tabs
The process which is called Tabs in Word is horrible. Other that having to
clear tabs all the time (which only partly helps) is there a macro that can
be run to destroy word tabs and put tabs in that is more like a typewriter?
...or can be converted to tabs used in Wordperfect?...

can Word 2002 compare documents?
I am using Word 2002 in XP SP-2.
I would like to compare a OCR scanned document (scanned form the page
proofs) received from a publisher with the original Word document that
was sent out to find the changes and differences between the two. Can
Word 2002 do this?

Why can't I see the page numbers?
I am having a very frustrating problem. I have a large document that has
about 68 pages. The document just automatically sectioned itself off, I
didn't want it to be in sections, but I don't know how to just make the whole
document 'section 1'. Anyway, I tried putting page numbers on the document,
and it only shows the page numbers on Some pages, not all of them. So I'll
have page 2 ...

Print date on last page of document

Word 2007 and email
I installed Home and Student 2007. No problems. However, when I tried to
email from Word, the Email portion was greyed out. Fax was fine. I am
using Windows Mail as my email. I do not have Outlook, nor do I have access

Locking a page?
Word 2007. I am creating a multi-page Parish profile where I will be adding
content to some pages but not to others. is there a way of locking pages so
that those pages that are finalised are not affected by the addition of text
