I have to insert a water mark into my document but I don't want it to be on
the first 2 pages, just the last 3. How do I insert a water mark without it
going on all the pages?...

How to overline a letter instead of underline
I am a new user of microsoft word 2007. I am trying to type a chemistry lab
report and can't figure out how to place a line above a letter. For example,
the instructor wants average molarity reported as " CA " with a line over the
"A". I see where to under line, but not how to "overline". ...

How do you suppress page numbers later in a document?
When doing a multiple page document, I choose page numbering which shows as a
header and footer. After page 3 or 4, I want to supress numbers in the
remaining document, but when I hit "remove page number", it removes all the
numbering. How can I get the first few pages to number, and then stop the
number?...

Vertical location indicator
In Word 2003, at the bottom of the screen it would tell you what your
vertical position was. In Word 2007, the only tool I can find is the
vertical ruler which I find very hard to determine my vertical position. Is
there something that will tell me that my cursor is so many inches from the
top of the paper?
P.S. I am not wanting to change my top margin....

Does Word allow users to add items to the menu bar?
I am converting from WordPerfect to Word
I had a lot of my templated keyed to shortcuts in the Menu Bar
Can I do the same thing in Word?
The ribbon has provided room for some, but I had pretty extensive links to
directories and common templates embedded in the WP customized menu.
Any suggestions?

Email Merge Word 2007 - How can I prevent themedata.thmx attachmen
I used Word 2007 email merge to send out my publisher designed, then saved as
a jpg, then inserted into the mail document. When I send it out for testing
it goes to company outlook recipients just fine, but when it's sent to online
email accounts like Yahoo the recipient gets an attachment titled:
themedata.thmx and some code at the the bottom of email.
Can you tell me how to eliminate ...

Word 2003 lost in 2007
I have urgent deadlines and have had to suddenly begin working in word 2007 -
I absolutely hate the darned thing.
I am used to having word 2003 - set up for my poor eye sight and without all
those naggy underlines for grammer and spelling.
I had the old word 2003 set up for toolbars with both rows showing, default
text at 16 point Times New Roman, word count visible, paragraph alignmen...

Location of "normal.dot" file in Word 2007 under Vista ULTIMATE?
I would like to BACK-UP the "normal.dot" (or whatever it's called) file for
Word 2007 running under Vista Ultimate. My goal is to save the toolbar
settings and macros . . . and then COPY that "normal.dot" file . . . to
ANOTHER computer running Vista.
Hopefully, that way I won't have to recreate the custom toolbar icons, etc.
What is the CORRECT name of the file I am looking for?? ...

Adding the Frame command to the INSERT option on the toolbar
Formerly, I was able to insert a frame about a picture that I had previously
inserted onto a page by using the INSERT option on the toolbar. Now, for
some reason, this command has disappeared. How do I reinstate the FRAME
command within the INSERT dropdown option? I am using Office 2000.

How do I ressurect a file I did not save in Word 2007?
I was doing a school assignment and thought I hit save and apparently didn't.

Word 2003 Return Address color won't save
I have a .doc consisting of addresses. Just highlight an address, stick an envelope in the
printer and hit Envelopes/print; works fine. But I tried to make the return address a
different color (dark red). It works one time but forgets when the envelope window is
closed. Tried Default, but apparently that only works for new documents. How can I make
the return address color fast?

Word - Disappearance from View of Menu Command
Can anyone suggest how I can retrieve the File command back on to the screen?
The " dotted handle" on the left edge of the Menu bar doesn't seem to grab
it. It is 'there,' but not visible/retrievable from the screen or using the
cursor....
