Appendix A and Appendix B and I want them to be on the same page but

saving to print file - *.prn ... how do I print it?
Instead of printing the document I saved it to file and it was given the prn
extension. Just now I went to print it and Windows could not open it. I
'associated' it with Word and still nothing.
Perhaps I don't understand how this works. I assumed that by printing to
'file', I could then print the document at a later date.
This is not a major issue as I will open the *.doc ducument a...

How do I get the sum of a column of digits in MS Word 2007?
In older versions of Word getting sum of digits was possible by using TOOLS
and going to formula (or equation?); but there is no TOOLS tab in Word 2007.
So where do I go to be able to get the sum at bottom of a column of digits in
a table?...

What are the gotchas?
I just tried what seems to me like a too-simple way to replace two or more
spaces after a word or the end of a sentence, and that is to search for white
space (^w) and replace with one space by just pressing the space bar once in
the replace box.
It seems too good to be true, so before I adopt this approach, please tell
me what could go wrong, assuming the material is just regular par...

disabled macros in document
I'm not finding what I'm looking for when I search.
I have a document, that when I open it has the Macro options grayed
out. It also has forms on it that I cannot seem to change.
Other documents that I have opens normally, so it must be some start-
up macro/code embedded in this document.
Is there a way that I can disable this so I can open the document to
make modifications to it?

Need help placing photos in newsletter
I'm still trying to work my way through Word (long-time WordPerfect user but
new to Word) and set up our church newsletter. I keep running into problems
because of the unique characteristics of what I am trying to do. I scanned
a pen-and-ink drawing of the church for the top and created 3 columns for
the basic newsletter. I used a page break and continuous section break to

Margin view is incorrect
When I open a new Word document the text appears to begin at the very top
edge of the page, even though the margin is set to 1", and it prints
correctly at one inch.
How do I get the view to correspond to the setting?
thanks!...

saving after laptop suspend
Hi,
Here's a scenario that happens to me several times a week. I was wondering
if anyone has a solution.
I am editing a document on a network share. I suspend and resume the laptop.
When I resume, word detects that the network has gone away (possibly because
it takes a while for the wi-fi to reconnect). sometimes I get a spurious
error that the document has changed on the server.

help me with corrupted Word document!
I am praying that someone out there can tell me what the heck I need to do

I uploaded a manuscript I created in Word 2007 onto an internet publishing

is corrupted and needs to be decoded. How do I (or how does she) do this?
Some background: I did not originally have Word on my sy...

How can I create my own font?
I have a number of objects, created in PowerPoint, one for each of the
characters a>z, A>Z and 0>9.
I want to make it possible for a user to be able to type as normal and have
the individual characters replaced with the corresponding object,
effectively an alternative font.
I understand that I could create my own font from these, but how?
Can anyone recommend any free software...

What can be causing very slightly inconsistent top margins?
I have a document of some 120 pages, typed throughout to a consistent
layout: one template, one typeface (Courier new 12pt) and one header,
(consisting of just the page number in the upper right-hand corner).
Strangely, the words on a few pages seems to be positioned very slightly
lower than on the majority. This is most noticeable when moving through the
document in print view - the to...

to contain a number of URLs. For this new edition I wish to check the

hyperlinks have all been removed. Is there a way these hyperlinks could be

Auto Text hierarchy
On the toolbar in Word 2003, the Autotext appears to have a hierarchy. For
example on the drop down is an entry called Attention click the arrow on the
end and you get a drop down with Attention: and Att:.
So how is this down and how does it translate into Word 2007.

Text Wrap??
I don't know if this is the proper title.. however, what I want to do is to
copy text from a document that is narrow and paste it into a new word
document and have the text move out to the edges of a standard page. In
other words, when I paste the document into my new document, the lines are
only about 4" wide. I'd like them to extend to the standard margins.
How do I do this?

example, if I have three basic pages in a newsletter plus a small amount of

it done?

I have never created bookmarks before.
