Duplicate Labels in Word 2007
How do I print more than one but less than a sheet full of labels in Word
2007. I often need to print 3 duplicate labels for mailing, certified and
return receipt purposes and being able to do that in one sheet of printing
would be helpful.
Thanks, John...

Current Style indicator
In Word 2003 you can see the Style of the current selection in the toolbar.
I have yet to find something similar in Word 2007 except by using the Styles
Dialog.
It would be useful as an optional item for the status bar.

Word 2007
When opening a document, or creating a new document, the view is less than
100% - its seems to be around 75%.
How can I set a default to always open at 100%?
I hope this doesn't show as a 'double' post - I did post nearly 8 hours ago
and the original has still not shown up in this newsgroup.
Thanks

Strange line in footer
I have footers in a document. They are made up of a horiontal border
with the pagenumber underneath.
On one page an additional line is present but greyed out. It does not
follow the formatting of the footer line as it runs wider. I cannot
select to delete with or without the Header Footer dialog box open.
How can I get rid of this line?
Thanks...

space between words
I'm a new user of Word (2007) with a WinXP SP3 system. I've used WordPerfect
for many years. Recently, I brought into Word a letter, with my letterhead,
that I had created in WP. I deleted the body of the letter and typed a new
letter. It looked fine on screen; but when I printed it, there were all
sorts of weird spacings. For example:
extra spaces between some words (the text is left j...

Any particular setting I should modify?

When I OPEN a file, I would like my VIEWS to always be set as DETAILS. How
can I set this to be the default view?
I have gone to Windows Explorer Tools | Folder Options and set the folders

yucky view is still there. Also, I need the the title of the document column

2007 doesn't see old macros
Hello -
I am am using Word 2007 with Vista Home.
I wrote a longish macro that deleted hyperlinks, footnotes, and other
formatting.
When I opened Word and looked for it, I could not find it.
Are my old macros available with this upgrade from Excel 2000 to 2007?
Thanks,
Paul

formating headings in Word 2007
When trying to write a reurn address in my letter, I have found that
regardless of how I have the spacing set (mine is set to single space) the
lines between the name, street address, city/state, etc seemed to be double
spaced. If I type full sentences and the line wraps it is then single spaced.
Any suggestions of how to recitify this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Text pane covers some article text.
I'm a new user of Microsoft Word. I'm typing an 85+page story. I inserted a
picture into my story text. The story text wrapped around the picture
nicely. Then I drew a textbox below the picture and typed in the text pane.
The text pane now covers part of my story text. How can I uncover it? I've
tried working with Textwrap, but without success. Thank you....

I just installed Word 2000 on my laptop. The installation went perfectly

I've never known this happen before. What have I done wrong, and how can I

Altering left margin but keeping tab positions unchanged?
Is there a way of changing the left hand margin of a document but keeping
any tabs and indents in their old positions on the page, rather than having
them change too? Apart, I mean, from the obvious method of resetting the
tabs manually.
In other words, if I have a document with these settings:
left margin: 3.3 cms
tabs: 2 cms, 4 cms
and I want to change the left margin to 2.3 ...

Pasting signature image has gray background
I have Office XP and I have scanned an image (jpg) of my signature in order
to paste it onto a letter. However, the image box background always has a
faint gray background that does show on the printed page but is not there on
the monitor. I have played with the image contrast to eliminate it and it
apparently is not in the image itself.
Any suggestions?? Thanks, Larry
