But when I move it to Startup, reboot, etc., so that it's an Addin, AutoOpen doesn't run. Does the routine need a different name when it's in an Addin, or is there another way to make it run automatically? When I select a sentence and start writing, as far as i know, the new words i'm typing are supposed to replace the one i had selected, correct? this is not happening, what happens is as if i hadn't selected anything. When we pull up a word 2000 document and try to do an envelope, the return address and sometimes the "to" address are in +Headings font. We can change the font to match the documents (times roman numeral), and click the default button but it doesn't stay as times roman and we have to change it each time. They will work in a particular xxx.docx, but even though it indicates that the customized shortcut is being placed in normal.dotm, it will not work in normal.dotm or in any other doc.
