Word 2007: question on pdf documents
Hi everybody,
2 things:
1/
Is it possible to combine multiple pdf documents (not necessarily created
with Word 2007) into one single pdf document, using Word 2007 ? Let's say I
have 3 pdf documents, "book1", "book2" and "book3", I'd like to concatenate
(is that an English verb?) them into one "completeBook" pdf file.

anyone know about locked douments and how to unlcok them?
tmy document is locked. i can't type or do anything, does anyone know how i
get it back to a normal document? when i try to type it says "this
modification is not allowed because the document is locked" could someone
please help me....

Unable to save due to permision error
Dear All
All was fine with regard to word 2003.
Loaded kasparasky 2009.
May be by mere coincidence I think it is kasparasky.
When I am using word2003, and save it is fine. While on the same file and
do some edition and click 'save' or 'save as' it gives an error message that
"word cannot complete the save due to file permission error"
Read thro some links but not getting proper...

Templates and Docs
Dear Friends,
I have a number of docs in different directories which were all
originally started with a new command using a template I created which
is in my template dir. I am constantly fine tuning this template by
adding new styles and fixing the layout. Is there a way that I can
update all the docs that are using this template to reflect the

Word 2007: question on Normal template
Hi everyone,
My question concerns Word 2007. I created quite a few macros which, I
presume, are stored in a Normal template? Or somewhere else?
I would like to save this template or whatever file, to be able to restore
it and all my macros should a problem occur.
Where can I find these files?

Word Is Forever Installing
I installed portions of Office Enterprise 2007 (Word, Excel and Outlook) from my Administrator account. After playing with the software for a few days, I switched back to my Limited User account (in Windows XP Home SP 3).
In my Limited User account, each and every time I click on the Word or Excel icon, Office starts installing. Here's what happens: I click on the icon, then I see a message box...

Building Blocks Template
In Word 2007, when I open the Building Blocks Organizer, I notice that
the various building blocks are located in either Building Blocks.dotx
or in a file called ~WRD4061.tmp. I suspect something has gone awry
and that the building blocks should all be in the dotx template rather
that the tmp file. Has anyone run across this? Also, is there a way to
create a new gallery and name it whatever y...

Userinitials and fileref on last page only.
Hi
Im trying to put userinitials and filename on the last page of a document
only. Pagenumbers are set to start with 0, and pagenumbers are not shown on
forst page. I have put a bookmark on the last page and uses this:
{ IF { PAGE \* MEGEFORMAT} ={PAGEREF MYBOOK \* MERGEFORMAT} {USERINITIALS
\* MERGEFORMAT} / {FILENAME \*MERGEFORMAT} }
but it appears blank on all pages.

Why does Word rever to this default, and how do I avoid it. I never want it

How to clear the 'Recently Used Fonts' list in Word 2007?

Word 2003 purchase
I recently bought Word 2007--my first Word program--so I could more easily
deal with companies that use Word. I've tweaked it to come closer to
WordPerfect, but the ribbon and other "features" still are driving me to
distraction. I've talked to several people in my business who say that 2003

Using Gmail

Formatting text box
I have two questions, both relating to the same text box I am trying to
format.
(1) I want to insert a picture within a text box and change the size of the

Strange "Find" Behavior
When I bring up the Find dialog box in Word 2007, it often shows
"Outline" after "Format" (right under the "Find What" box). I cannot
figure out what makes that style show up there sometimes and not other
times. Whenever it does that I have to clear that by clicking "No
Formatting." Not a huge thing, but bothersome just the same. Any
thoughts will be appreciated.

Fonts change Mysteriously
In word I highlite and change the size of the font of a sentence to over 12
and also change the color to Blue. Then If I simply scroll the page up to
where the sentence disappears under the tool bar it changes it to red!
However, the color stated on the font is still blue and so is the description
in the style tab as well.
However, If I keep the font at 12 or under this does not happen...

Page Reference Field, Word 2007
I am trying to use a page reference on page 43, and 51 to a bookmarked item
on page 2. I have done this many time in Word 2003, but can not find the
PageRef field in Word 2007. A bit of direction is required to find it.
