Email Merge: sends documents, but eliminates all hyperlinks!
Okay, after struggling to get mail-merge working at all, finally got it to

In other words, the Text to Display for each link is there, but the
hyperlink is gone. I'm using Office XP (Word & Outlook 2002, SP3).
If I go to File>Send>Mail Recipient, then it sends the email and the links

How do I tell Word 2003 my mail-merge text is NOT UTF-8?
I am using Word 2000 automation to invoke a mail-merge from a number of C++
applications. For various operational reasons not relevant here, the
applications create a tab-separated temporary file and call a library
function which uses the OpenDataSource method of the MailMerge object to
connect it to the template before using Execute to perform the merge. The
verson of Word actually in...

there's no data for them. I would like the field name to print next to the

Insert line into catalog mail merge
I have set up a catalog mail merge in Word 2000 from an Excel worksheet. One
of the fields is a date and I have sorted on that.
Is there any way to get Word to automatically put a line between any two
rows where the date changes? Ideally I mean a solid line, but an empty row
would do.
So
record1 1 May 2007
record2 1 May 2007
record3 2 May 2007
etc

Insert Access RTF fields with appropriate format
Hello everybody,
I want to mail merge retrieving fields from an Access table which store RTF
text in memo fields. The merged file shows the raw information with the RTF
codes, like "{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\deff0{\fonttbl....}" The question is: Is
it possible to show the actual formatted RTF text instead of the RTF codes?
Thanks in advance.

Help! Word reading fields merged from Excel as "0"s instead of da

they are from singe to quadruple digits. When I merge them to my WORD doc,
the numbers with dashes all come out as ZEROs. Why will Word not recognize
these numbers...
