Mail Merge from Excel for Envelopes only
i created a mail merge from excel data to a custom word document that is
7.25"w
x 5.25"h, the size of my envelope. Data came over fine.
Everything looks fine on the preview. When I go to print, I keep getting
the same envelope over and over. It will not move on to the next record. I
am sure that I am missing something very obvious, but I cannot figure this

File setup for mail merge for wedding invitation envelopes
Hi,
I am setting up a file (Excel) that I will later use to do a mail merge
directly to envelopes and I was hoping someone could tell me if I have the
fields seperated out enough to do this. I currently have Name (ex. Mr. and
Mrs. Ewing), Address, City, State, Zip and then i have an Inner Envelope

how fix labels merged from excel so name is first and not address
After I setup mail merge to print labels from excel, print preview shows the
street addreas before the name even after I double-check the address match so
please can someone tell me how to fix this and how to get all pages of labels
printed at the same time - not just the first 30 which is the number of
labels on each page.

Rename Header for tables generated using Database field
I am using Database field to generate a table from a delimited file.
However, I want to table headers to be renamed dynamically. I was expecting
this can be done by renaming column names in SQL statement, e.g.
SELECT COL1 [NEW_COL1] FROM C:\\Test.txt
However, it gave me an err message of "Word was unable to open the data
source".

Microsoft Office Word 2003 Mail Merge
I have inadvertently pointed the Mail Merge feature in Word to the incorrect
Outlook Contacts folder, how do I change the Outlook folder list in Word or
add another Oulook folder to the Word list?

Merge Access Query w/many-to-one relationship
Here's the problem:
A client needs to send out letters to clients showing open invoices from
their organizations. A Access Report built from a Query does this just fine,
but it's not a Mail-Merged letter.

Word Merge labels
I am using Word and Access 2003
I have a Db of customers addresses. I created an avery address label in
Access but it is not printing out correctly. Labels are beginning to high or
to low. I have played with the spacing but to no avail. So I created a
merge doc, using the same avery label, with the access query as the data

mailmerge labels line spacing
Hi, does anyone know how to make word 2007 sp1 default to SINGLE SPACING
(with no extra spacing of any kind) on mailmerge labels?
Everytime I try a new labels mailmerge, it adds extra space between the
lines. I have 40 users who do not appreciate having to change the style every
time they create labels. I have actually been asked this question twice
before lunch today. :(

Word FORM Date and text field is removed when document is merged
I have a Word Form document letter that contains date date fields. The form
works fine up until I merge with Excel. The fields I am mergeing do NOT
contain the form date fields. The form date fields are in the body of the
form letter. When I merge the Word Form document with Excel all the Date
fields all disappear. I also have drop down boxes on the Form and there is

Complex mail merge
Hello,
I have sql database with many students. I would like to print some kind
of brochure where every student will get only part of A4 page. It will
look very similar to business cards laid out for printing. This is very
easy to achieve with labels and mail merge.
However I need to have students grouped by university name. Layout

My company uses a program called Cactus which uses a Word Mail Merge
function to send letters to our clients. I have spoken to the technicians
of the program and am assured that there is no setting for this in the
system and that it is a Word function. The deal is - for a long time the

How to remove image attachments
I use word mail merge to send out e-newsletter.
There are 7 images inserted on the word file, and they are all attached
automatically somehow when I send out newsletter using mail merge function.
Does anybody know how to get rid of or hide those attachments??...

Blank records are crashing my mail merge.
I'm using Word and Excel 2007 on Windows XP Professional. I have a small
spreadsheet in Excel with names and addresses; when I use it as my data
source for creating labels in Word, Word imports my 66 addresses, and an
extra 8,000 or so blank records - the rows under my spreadsheet. I have
tried importing the spreadsheet as a Text (tab delimited) document, I've
unchecked all the records...

limiting mailmerge result
I have a name and surname fields that merges into word forms
I now have forms asking for first and middle names. At the moment first and
middle names are together in the name field. 2 separate fields would resolve
the problem but with a few hundred documents would be disastrous to do.

"select recipients" option my labels display <<next record>>. I am going by
the most simple instructions from Microsoft ... labeled......"Print labels by

Is Word 2003 SP2 Mailmerge buggy?
I started out with a text data file layout with such fields as
name, addr1, addr2, addr3, postcode
and from there I built a "labels" mailmerge document
In my excel application, I ask how many avery labels I want to skip,
since I may only be printing one or two labels each time and may have
used labels at the start, so I write the appropriate number of blank
lines with say just 4 vbT...

Keep excel format in mail merge 2007
I need to keep the formatting from excel where each number may have a
different number of decimal points and or currency symbol, so field switches
are not helpful, at least not the ones I've come across. I have tried using
the confirm file format conversion on open, as suggested by microsoft. This
does not work if you have multiple worksheets, it only picks the first one.
Any ideas?...

Reading view wiped out mail merge??
I received an Word document (it had "Word fields" in it) as an e-mail
attachment. When I opened it I was asked if I wanted to open it in Reading
View. I said yes. After I exited that document I noticed that when I open
any of my Word mail merge documents, the mail merge fields are replaced with
"Word fields". Can I correct this without recreating each mail merge

Incomplete Mail Merge
I have an Excel database to be merged into Word 2007 for labels. The first
time I did the labels, there were over 1000 and all merged just fine. For
this mailing, I have reduced the database to 997 but only the first 48 of the
names will merge. What is going on? I need help quickly. My client expects
this project yesterday, of course....

email merge
I want to do an email megre that sends personalised emails to a number of
individuals.
If I try and use my email contacts as Data Source, then I seem to be only
able to include data from the Contacts File in the merged mail.
I need to include other data (currently in Excel).
Can I merge to Outlook from EXcel and pick the email addresses up from Excel?
