how to keep whole 2-row table together at page break with mail-merge in
directory type document. Merge fields are in table, therefore table is

unable to delete orphaned close field brace in first page footer
In Word 2003, users of a rather large mailmerge document reported that it
would preview and print out a right curly brace in the footer of the first
page.
More investigation revealed that the right curly brace is an orphaned close
field brace which is situated beside the close field brace of an IF

Mail Merge Word 2003
I have created a mail merge from an Excel file and all is fine except that
one field is an "amount" which is in the Excel data base as having two digits
after the decimal point. When I merge, I get four digits after the decimal.
I have reformated the Excel calculation and formatted again to have two
digits, and it still comes out as four.
Anyone have an idea how to fix this?...

Merging pictures along with data...
I'm currently working on a database of employees for my supervisor. I'm
making individual profiles of employees by using the mail-merge feature in
Microsoft word to take the data from the spreadsheet and filter it into word
documents. This part is going wonderfully... BUT, my supervisor told me today
that he wants ID pictures included with each profile. Is there a way for me

I work for a fulfillment comapnay who processes orders for several clients.
Most of what I do is mergeing mailing lists to letters which get shiped with
items. However they want me to start sending e-mail to customers whos orders
are on backorder. I have developed a merge letter which i want to use and

Future Date - Word 2000
Hello,
I have to input a future date in a document. I got a peice of code from this
forum a little whhile back to do it however, it doesn't format with the date
ordinals. Does anyone have any suggestions to add the ordinals to the code
please?

Merging Access data into a Word document
Is it possible to take the data from Access, and merge it into just one Word
document? I wish to create a form letter addressed to one person, using the
data that I have stored in an Access database. However, the only options I

Merge selected records
I have one Word database and one main document. I want to merge three
different types of letters using the same database. The fiield names that
identify the type of letter are: 'letter_a' 'letter_b' and 'letter_c'. Any
suggestions on the preferred field code I should use and the information I
should include for the parameters?

I have a very large spreadsheet I am trying to merge into a word document.
When I merge, all of my dollar amount come up with no $ sign, no thousand
separater, and either no ending zeros, or more than 2 decimal places. I am
not sure what to do. I am in a real time bind, if anyone can help.

2007 Merge Data becomes Read-only
I have users who use multiple merge files (Word 97-2003) attached to .doc
data sources. Users who have upgraded to Office 2007 now can not save changes
to the data source - they receive the message that the data file is
read-only, while 2003 users can save data. Does anyone know a solution or
workaround for this?...

Changing From field in a mail merged word document
I am using Word 2002 and Outlook 2002 and am looking to creat a mail merge
document to be sent out to 500 users. My question is:
Is it possible to change the "From address" that appears on the e-mailed
messge?
We want to send e-mails to a group of users and have it appear to come from
a maile enabled public folder.

Word 2007 "Read-Only" error when changing source data
I have two word documents (originally created in word 2000) one is the
form and the other is the data contents.
When ever I change the data, through the edit recipients wizard, and

Can the final use copy of the mail merge template be protected so that the

Merging Graphic - SIZE problem

Mail merge problem
I have inserted a field into a mail merge document and when I merge / view
the document the numerical figure I have chosen ends up being a figure with
many decimal points eg 720.234654 instead of 720 as it is in my data source
(excel spread sheet)
How do you get the figure to just be 720?
