Formatting Mergefiled Problems
Hi
I have looked up and found lots of similar problems with this but I haven't
found a specific answer.
By the way, this is the first time this problem has happened to me and I
have done dozens of merges so I don't know what's happened.
Firstly, my merged data from Excel is inserting a 0 where a filed is blank.

Areas in Mailings field not highlighted

How do I format Mail Merge doc to pick up currency format from Exc
Office 2007, Windows XP
I have created a data base using Excel that contains several numbers that
are formatted as currency. When I insert these fields into my Word document
(letter), the currency formatting is not there. I'm very new to Word 2007
and can't figure out how to change this. All help is appreciated.

How do I add recipients to a mailmerge label list?
This should be very simple. I created address labels using Word mailmerge and
finished the merge, printed the labels, everything's OK. Now I want to add
new recipients to my existing .mdb file and re-merge. I can open the original
document and edit the existing recipients, but how do I actually add new
names and addresses? There is no button on the Mailmerge toolbar to ADD
recipients.

mail merge cut off or truncating 255 word limit
here is a good solution ms word 2003 (and probably works for other versions)
for mail merges using an excel database (just an excel spreadsheet with your
merge information)
in microsoft word 2003, with any document open, go to tools, options
click the general tab
check "confirm conversion at open"
exit microsoft word
restart microsoft word
connect your merge document to your ...

mail merge shows numbers for dates
do you have a mailmerge where 12/14/2008 in the spreadsheet is turning into
39800 in your word document?
first, make sure that all of your spreadsheet cells are in general format
(format, cells, choose the general format).
then, do NOT use just the date or other info that excel automatically
changes to a pre-set format (without even showing it to you). so for example,

Mail merge problem with Word 2007
I am having a problem in getting a successful mail merge to print some
labels usng Excel as a data source on a 3 column, 7 row sheet under Office
2007/Vista.
When doing the merge, only the first row of labels gets completed.
I have used the same Excel data under XP without problem.
I have tried doing it manually and using the 'wizard' but have failed
miserably - any thoughts please as to...

Merging Word with Excel - using multiple rows within a letter
Hello, I'm trying to merge an excel document that has multiple rows for one
area and I want to bring them into the one letter; i.e.: John Brown owns

Mail merge fields in a text box
Hi
Is there a way to create mail merge fields in a text box?
I have custom-made letterhead where a graphic covers the whole sheet and the
actual space for letter body is confined in a text box.
If impossible, any suggestions to get around the situation?

schdmapi.dll missing in mail merge feature; detect & repair not wo
Hello,
I need some help please. I am trying to run a mail merge in Office 2003
Professional and when I click on data source and select Outlook as my source,
I get an error message stating that I am missing schdmapi.dll. I tried
detect & repair and this did not replace the file. Then I found a download

Editing existing mailing label doc
How do I edit entries in an existing mail merge mailing label document? I
can select "edit recipient list" but then Word will not let me edit once I
select the table to use. These are my Christmas card labels and every year I
have some problem or another with this. I'd like to get this right once and

Deleting blank lines in mail merge doc
Hi,
I have a mail merge document of about six pages whose data source is another
word doc.
However, not all the merge fields contain data at any given time. Sometimes
I have two fields on page one with data and one files on page six with data.
When I merge this info, I have five pages blank in between. How can I
automatically delete these blank lines each i do the merge?

Word 2007 Mail Merge - maximum amount of emails to send to?
Looking for Help with Mail merge through Word 2007. I downloaded a csv from
our database and used mail merge wizard through all the steps. I tested with
5 and then 10 emails and they all sent perfectly.
The trouble came when I downloaded a csv with 20k emails/records. I tested
sending 1-1000 records and it appeared to send fine. Did that for all the

Why do zip codes w/ leading zeros disappear when doing mail merge
I use excel which contains zipcodes that begin with zero. When I merge the
spreadsheet for letters and labels, the zeros disappear (I get a four diget
zipcode instead of five).
I formated the column as a zip code, but it still doesn't work....

Merge image field not displaying
I am trying to use images in a word merge from Excel, without any success. In
the original document I have three fields I have made to try and diagnose the
problem:
1. {MERGEFIELD Flag}
2. {INCLUDEPICTURE "E:\\{MERGEFIELD Flag}" }
3. {INCLUDEPICTURE "E:\\{MERGEFIELD "Flag"}" }

merge more than one line
I am trying to merge from excel a list of invoices to each customer. I have
come up with a formula but it is not working, and it prints on the letter
instead of the data. What am I doing wrong.
