Getting rid of a weird character
I'm working on some Japanese text that has been transliterated into English. What I

believe it is a non-printing character. I can find it in my character map and insert one,
but I cannot copy and paste it into the find/replace box. I want to delete all these
characters. I believe they represent an accent...

Numeral 7 European-style in Word 2007
In Europe the handwritten number seven has a short horizontal line through it.
My question: Is there any Word 2007 or Vista system font that allows one to
type such a European-style seven?
In Brian Livingston's and Paul Thurrott's recently published book, Windows
Vista Secrets, they used this European-style seven. I first wrote to both of
them and have not received a reply.

to restart Word, but there must be some short cut keys to this feature that
I am inadvertently pressing.
Any clues...

week in Hindi script, however it always gives Western style numerals instead
of the Devanagari numerals used for these languages. Is there a way for it to
