how can i change the font to a language i made up?
i have created a language made up of charictors that, i made up.:) well any
way i figured out that i can use the languege bar on my computer to draw in
those charictors in microsoft word and i was wondering i f i could type in
those letters by using the translater but i dont know how to make the letters
register....

Printed watermark prints over top of text??
HI!
I'm using Word 2002, Windows XP Professional, and am using a Delll 3100cn
colour laser printer.
When I add a printed watermark (a JPG image) to my word document (washout
selected), and have text on the page, on the monitor the text shows up fine
over top of the printed watermark (even in print preview it looks fine), but
when printed on the Dell printer, the watermark covers up t...

Picture can't be selected
In Word 2003, I inserted a picture by copying the image inside its .jpg file,
then pasted it into work. I then formatted the layout of the picture so that
it lays behind the text with Other selected as alignment.
Later, I realized I needed to resize the picture but Word won't let me
select it regardless of how I try to. Why is this happening, and much
appreciation for any help anyone ...

using forms to plot coordinates of a image.
Hi
I have req where I prompt the user to browse for an image, which will be
copied to a folder and as the user starts fillin in the word template I need
to provide an interface for the user to select a particular coordinate in
that image.

bold black unwanted underscore line
This has probably been addressed before . . . . but . . . when making a quick
and dirty form I will use the underscore key to make lines that are to be
filled by hand on the printed form. I type a line of underscores, hit return
and then - ARRRRG!
What happens is that a bold black line (that has nothing to do with the ones
I've actually typed) appears and is virtually impossible to get...

my graphics are no longer showing in print preview.
Until very recently I had no problem with seeing graphics in print preview.
Now I can only see them on web preview and can't print accurately.

Selecting an image with a hyperlink
I have an image with a hyperlink attached to it.
Do I have to remove the hyperlink before I can select the image to copy it
to another document, and then add the hyperlink to both of them?
I tried selecting the entire text, including the image, but the image was
not pasted into the new document.

Smartart graphics resizing all the time
After creating a Hierarchy SmartArt graphic without any connectors connecting
to any of the other boxes I run into the following problem. When I resize one
of the boxes it resizes and moves my other boxes.
Is there anything I can to keep the other boxes stable when I need to
re-adjust another box?

When my text box is selected I cannot get the line picker

Cannot apply styles to a single line
Hi All,
Found one thing in Word 2007 Ultimate Edition:
When we insert single line through "Insert tab - Shapes", we cannot apply
styles to that line as it was working previously in word 2003
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Go to Insert tab - Shapes - select one single line and draw it

Fill Color not showing
I created a rectangular autoshape...selected a blue fill color...but it does
not fill. I have it set on print preview...this has worked in the past, but I
can't get any color. BTW, I can get color to show for the text in the box,
but not in the boxes??

Word 97 clipart available?
Where is "stick figure man" (which I'm sure is NOT his real name) from Word
97 clipart? I'm currently using Word 03 and he's not in clip art. I miss him!
He had a clearly defined, unique "mood" for every situation!

Pictures and Labels
I have a page that is divided into 8 shipping labels. I want to put a
picture of a truck on each of the labels as a watermark. Is this possible?
I can copy and paste a picture on each but it is not a watermark. If I
insert a watermark it covers the whole page and not each individual label.

Having trouble getting graphics to print on correct page
My first real problem with Office 2007. When I print any document from Word
in landscape, book fold, with the first page blank, the graphic on p. 1
prints on p. 2. In similar docs with graphics on both p. 1 and p. 2, the
graphic for p. 2 prints on p. 1 and vice versa; the graphics on p. 3 prints
on p. 4 and vice versa. Everything shows up great in print preview; docs
just print wrong....

Mirror/Flip Function changed in word 2007?
I use msWord to create art and I commonly use the flip/mirror function on
grouped items, but with word 2007 I don't seem to be able to. I also can't
flip/mirror things that are rotate, I have to set them back to 0 and then
flip/mirror them and then re-rotate them to the position I wanted.

Locked aspect ratio not staying locked in Word 2007
I am working with Word 2007 and Excel 2007 on Windows XP. If I "paste
special" a linked Excel Worksheet object and choose "lock aspect ratio", the
aspect ratio does not stay "locked" when I update the links. For example,
I've pasted something in at 50% & 50% of original height. (Usually I've had

Cannot see inserted pictures in Word 2003
In Word 2003, why is it that after inserting a picture or graphic in a text
document, sometimes you cannot see the picture. If I change the view size,
sometimes the picture shows up. I would like to set a default that allows
the picture to always be shown (not hidden)....

Moving inserted clipart.
I am using Word 2007 and when I insert a picture or clipart, the clipart is
there alright. But when I click on the picture to move it, Word does not
allow me to do this. Copy and paste to a different part of my document does
not work either. This question is not about word wrapping. I had no problem
moving clipart in Word 97 or Word 2000. Ideas please?...

Saving Images as bimaps
Hi,
I have a header in Word 2003, which is based on a table. I have a third
party package that will accept images in the header (and this the only way I
can get a header to look like the word one in that package - Mathsoft MathCad
13). This package only accepts bimaps as images.
However, when I cut/paste the table from word I get a very poor resulting
