Document looks ok in print preview but when printed it's not right
I created a conference agenda and it looks ok in the print preview, but when
I print it some errors show up on the page. Please help!...

Problem with Save as RTF
I am making a Help document using Microsoft Help Workshop and not using HTML
Help Workshop for several reasons (problem with "What's this" button in
Access, I already wrote it in Word and did previous .hlp files, and I would

pdf save as problem
I try to save a word document with graphs to a pdf file by using "file save
as pdf ". However the dotted gridlines in the graphs (copied rom MATLAB) are
printed as continuous lines at pdf version. please advise solutions if you

Postnet barcode error
I created a special mailing label with my logo on that I print from New-->On
My Computer template in Word 2003. After inserting the bookmark and
inserting the Postnet bar code field, I can get it to print a 5 digit bar

create a footer that updates text from body of report
I am creating a report in Word 2003 that has an idenfication number
associated to each report. I would like to pull the report number into the
footer so that when I use the first report as a template for subsequent
reports I do not have to edit the footer just the title of the report. Do I

I can not see it in "Print layout". However, it can be seen in "No

How to protect portions of documents at a more granular level?
I need to protect text required by legal and finance in a wide variety of
contract templates. The contracts are authored using MS Word 2003, but a
subset of users will use Word 2007 to modify them. Users are technically
sophisticated employees who use the contract templates to customize contracts

help! zigzag lines in MicrosoftWord
I am trying to prepare a report for one of my college classes, and all these
zigzag lines keep popping up across the page. They seem to show up more when
I use formatting tools (like the 'indent' buttons). I even tried copying and

Header Showing Randomly
I have a couple of problems I need assistance with. First, my header shows
properly on all pages but two. One of them is my coversheet which I do not
want it on. When I remove it from the coversheet, it disappears from Page 4.
I need it on page 4.
