My even pages won't show the footer ?
Hi. Everytime I try to insert page numbers in my document, and select the
different odd and even pages button, my even pages' footers completely
disappears. As in there is aboslutely nothing! My odd pages are fine though. ...

APA Style reference page
I just got a paper back that told me to review the APA style guidlines for
APA reference page. I did look at the site the instructor gave and clearly
my reference page is not even close to what this site says it should be. I
made sure that I had clicked on the APA style in references of Office 07.
Why does it not match up and how can I fix this?

Word not in Office Menu
I just installed Office 2007 and it doesn't show up in the office menu. Power
point and excel along with other office programs are listed in the menu. I
had to go to "Program Files" and click on "WinWord" to get it to work. Any
suggestions?

How do i get rid of this weird symbol at the end of each line
It looks like a weird backwards "P" and it only shows up when i hit enter and
instead of there being a space when i hit the space bar it puts a dot....

2 docs as 1
I have 2 seperate documents that I want to send out as 1, specifically a
cover letter on page 1 followed by a resume on page 2 (& possibly a letter of
recomendation on pg 3). Whenever I try to add a 2nd page to the to cover
letter & paste my resume in, it will split the reume in to 2 pages.. I
thought it might be the template so I tried retyping the letter into a new

Updating Source File for ALL Links Simulateously in Word
Is there a way to update the source file information for all of the links
within a word document (pointing to an excel file) at once? I know how to

Insert -> Picture -> From File greyed out
I'm using Word 2003 and have been able to use Insert -> Picture ->
From File for ages, but suddenly today From File is greyed out as an
option. I've rung the help desk and they don't have a clue, I've
tried resetting the location for Clip Art (since that seems to be the
default location used by From File) but nothing seems to have fixed
it.
Any suggestions?

I accidentally typed *** and enter, creating what I think is a section break.

Word 2003 - Need help changing text direction in normal.dot templa
Some how the text direction in the normal.dot template has been changed from
the standard left to right at the top of the document to top to bottom on the

View, Zoom, One Page
When I select View, Zoom, One page, the document views in a square /landscape
image instead of a potrait image, but the page is selected as 8 1/2 x 11 and
potrait orientation. What did I change and how do I get it back to view as
is? It prints correctly. I am using print layout as my document view.

03 Word Templates not holding formatting in 07
We have several users who have created templates, some quite sophisticated,
but not all. We have just rolled out Office 07 on WinXP. These templates
are having various problems - locking up, margins not holding fast, tables
and headings not holding. What's going on and how do we fix this. Thank you....

Avoid loosing format in ref-fields in header/footer
I am trying to make a template in Word 2003 containing fill-in fields to
place the same text in different areas of the document. Have specified format
(different for different areas in text), but when opening a document the
formatting of the text in header and footer has "lost it's settings"
(font-size, bold, capitals).
The choise: "Preserve formatting during updates" is active.

Word 2003 error
(Apart from reinstalling)
When I open a new document in Word and start typing the words do not appear
on the document, I have tried Detect and Repair, font colour, etc, the only
thing I can see is wrong is that teh Spell checker is constantly running.
This problem does not appear in any other Office applications
(XP, Office Pro2003)...

How to stop the spacebar deleting words when creating space?
I've been typing a document using MS Word 2003 and everytime I try to go back
up (whether a sentence or a paragraph up) into my document to fix some other
typing errors I've made especially typing a missing word into some sentence;
the next word/s get deleted/erased everytime I use a spacebar to create space
forcing me to retype the rest of the document all over again. What's the
problem...

Help. Recording a Macro to resize maintaining aspect ratio
Hi there,
I have a document with lots of images that are too big. I am trying to
resize them all to 11cm wide and maintain the aspect ratio for the height.
I recorded a basic macro but the height is equal to whatever measurement was
in there when I recorded.
Any way around this please!!!
